If you guys were looking for people to roll with, what would be a classy, discreet way to put it without saying "Looking for people to roll with!" Say, for instance, you were looking on a dating website.

I'd be pretty open about it tbh, at least using the word 'roll'. The average citizen wouldn't know wtf rolling is I'd think hahaha

Go to a rave, make friends, hang with them later. Most people at raves are on something

Not really looking to rave, though. Mainly just looking for a tactful, possibly witty to broach the subject. I've done it before, although I can't remember what I said.

You might want to bring up the topic of drugs first gently. That way you'll know if the person is pro or contra drugs. If he/she is obviously not against drugs in general you could steer the conversation a bit towards rolling (eg: oh, so have you tried any drugs yourself? Something else than weed?) and go from there

"Oi do you cunts munch pingers?" is often a very common phrase in Oz.

You gotta lead up to it otherwise people might think you're a seedy unit. Try asking them if they head out, then if they drink much, then if they recoil at the thought of alcohol your chances suddenly look like a sober nun or the devil's mrs you know?

Being direct first without initial talking will gather you more strange looks than positive responses.

Um my intro's have generally been talking about how one might stay up all night at a music event ("lets face it its a challenge"), or a discussion of how I rather suffered after a music festival ("didn't really feel myself for a couple of weeks after - might have gone at it a little hard") etc etc....

Just make a joke like: "you seen that guy dancing over there. I wonder what he's on. I might go and ask him for some ;)"

"im really into music festivals"

This would probably be the closest thing. Like if there were my picture and a brief "about me" section, so people could decide quickly whether they're interested. Some people put "420 friendly" or even "Looking for someone to smoke with." Just looking for a quick, tactful way to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'd rather find that one person who I know is open to rolling before I talk to her, then have to sift thru 20 people, and steer the conversation towards drugs.

In my experience rolling is an easy subject to bring up whether people have done it before or not. I'm a pretty persuasive individual, hahaha. I usually start talking about the subject of partying in general, ask what people like to do when they party, if they enjoy raves or electronic music, and then.start asking about rolling and telling them how I feel about it. I've gotten alot of people to try or commit to trying in the near future.

Generally I've found if they like weed, they'd probably be down to trying other drugs if you nudge them. Or maybe they already do, or know someone who does!

happy_dude- That's brilliant! I love to make "jokes" like that when I'm hanging with friends who I'm not sure are drug-friendly. Their immediate reaction usually tells me if they're cool. My next step is to tell a story about "this one time, years ago when I took ecstasy." Gauge reaction again. Easing into it is important!

OP- I totally see where you're coming from. It sucks to have to go on dates and THEN find out if they're cool with something that's a part of your life. I think that saying something about music festivals is funny but might be the only subtle way to get the point across. "420 friendly" might indicate someone who is a little more cool with drugs, but tons of people are 420 friendly while being anti-everything else. "Open minded to a wide variety of life experiences" or something along that line might hint a little closer. Straight up saying "roll-friendly" or "enjoys rolling on occasion" may be direct- I don't know if you would get in trouble on the dating site, but I agree with trozzle- most people wouldn't know what that means, but many people who enjoy MDMA do. It's sort of already a code...though I do know people who roll who don't know what rolling means.
I have often wondered what people can say to communicate this. With meth you have pnp (party and play), with weed you have 420-friendly, but there's nothing for M :(

I usually just say i like to rave, that gives them a pretty good hint that i roll haha
