Got a Led Zep mix on Youtube after seeing Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters the other week. Would never have pinned me for enjoying that, but hey ho!

Been on a massive Pink Floyd thing recently, mostly cos of the latest album and Mrs Snolls is a big fan. Can't say I'm not warming to them myself and I do like the new one. Like that it's mostly instrumental tho track 18 is a good 'un (fuck knows what it's called I only see it when we're driving or it's on the Xbox)

edit: you know when you been tripping all day and can't tell when the visuals have stopped? That Iggy pic solved that one for me 8(

Phew! Mystery solved. Has been suggested numerous times that you are into 'EDM' and I just couldn't see it somehow. First I've heard of the 'B' bit but on much safer ground now.

Cool. Can you recommend any of their albums? I only possess Pet Sounds, and know it like the back of my hand, but have yet to investigate them any further. I love all of their stuff but want to know another album.


Lots of Cocteau Twins mentions recently, which I massively approve of. :)
 
Summer Days is a good earlyish one. After that, the reconstructed Smile is a fantastic stoned / psyche journey, but they kept putting out decent records for a while. Sunflower's good, as is Surf's Up. Friends is a really great record to listen to in the mornings. So mellow.

Later on, The Beach Boys Love You is a kind of kitsch / mental illness classic. They wheeled out Brian, who wrote loads of children's music on primitive synths and a Moog Taurus pedal. It's such an addictive record, but their voices are all shot to fuck.

So yeah, definitely Friends. After that, take yer pick. :)

My pleasure! Forgot to mention Wild Honey, which was a one-off soul / rhythm 'n' blues LP they did shortly after Brian's breakdown. It's one of those records you can't listen to without developing a shit-eating grin at some point or other. I reckon you'd like it.
