I was thinking about this earlier, all I could come up with today was about $45. I bought a pack of smokes and decided to hit my guy up for $40. worth of H...Normally, I try to get about $100, but cant come up with this every day, I know it probably isnt even a concern of my connection, but I feel kinda like Im wasting their time when I ask them for such a small amount, cuz they have to drive out to meet me somewhere, take time out of their day..etc. I mean, I know this is what they do, but still, kind of embarrassing to me.

However the other day when I was meeting them, they told me to meet them in the lot of a local burger joint, as one of their other clients works there and she only gets like $10-$20 at one time, I guess this is all they can come up with...not long ago, when I would hit my guy up, it was for like $250, $400 worth at one time, but ever since Ive been using almost daily now, I cant come up with that amount as often, usually only when I get a paycheck is when I can get more than $100, $150 at once, but then again, Ive found the more I have, the more I use, so I guess it doesnt matter, plus my connection has NEVER turned me down, or said, No, cant meet for such a small amount, so I guess its all good, I just dont want to be a hassle to them.

I dont want to upset them, cuz Ive known them for many years and they consistently give me bags that weigh OVER what i pay for, or what I asked for!

When I sold, I tried to see those who spent the most 1st. But, there were times when even my best customer only had 10 or 20 on them. It's understandable. Now if they showed up with no money, & begged for a front... well that's a different story.

What bothers dealers most is hassle & risk. Are you where you're supposed to be on time? Are you gonna cause attention to the deal? Are you gonna shoot up in your car right after I see you?

BTW- this probably belongs in DC.

Me and my ex used to deal and some times there would be an audible groan over the two front seats if we were on the far end of town and got a call from someone on the other side of town. They could have been buying a ball and it wouldn't have mattered, its the time your going to take which makes me have to rush to all my other clients and the fact I won't be central anymore. The amount never mattered to us. I mean we used and we understood that you sometimes only have 20, 40 but you really need the drug.

^ this.
I hated that. I'd drive to end of town. Get home, and then someone else would call and I would have to drive right back. Especially if it was dark soon. The chances for getting pulled over seem to increase 10 fold at night.

v That too. I hated when someone would buy something small several times in a row within a few hours.

More like "I hope he'll do it" or "I hope he's not pissed I'm only getting one for the 4th time in a row"

Most of their daily customers probably get $40. Get high. Go steal something to pawn then come back for another $40. Everyday they deal with just that. Both my dealers were lazy losers always high on their own supply and always late so they were the hassle in my case. If it's one who treats it like a real job and is professional that's different but majority of them suck so i wouldn't feel bad.

If my guy did anything less then 30 you best believe id call with only 10 bucks sometimes. I am usually kind of exclusive with my people so I would hope they would understand i spent my whole paycheck and am now rubbing pennies together to avoid getting sick. It is in my experience the words "can you work with 10 dollars at all" is one of the least embarrassing and soul destroying things i could do while sick so yes i totally would without question.

To bad this new guy wont do anything less then 30 though when i have 28 he will and its totally worth it.

I would hate to rely on a connection like that, luckily, my guy is really good at this, usually, when i text to tell him how much I want, most of the time, they meet within the hour, but they do have lives too, have 2 middle school girls, so I understand if it takes a little longer sometime...IMO, they have always been professional about it.

What I really like, is when they tell you where to meet them, they kind of know each of their customers and know where they are driving from, so usually, when I get to the place, they are there within 5 minutes, plus, once they tell me where to meet, they will text back, letting you know EXACTLY when they will be there...this is great because I get kind of nervous sitting in my car in a random gas station or fast food joint parking lot sometimes, well, if its for longer than 15-20 minutes. mainly because of my cell phone, if anyone were to look in there, they would know what i was doing waiting there!

I was never that 'lucky' and had to do it by foot.
Doing waiting was pretty common and everything was quite stressful aside from the fact I was soon getting high.
I think it depends where you live.
H. for instance was usually dealt in quite shady neighborhoods, if you wanted good stuff.
The amount of money never seemed to be the problem though.

ya this definitely belongs in the Drug Culture thread just so you know, but it's a great discussion hearing everyone's experiences with it.

EVERY one of mine back when i was using would take at least 5-6 hours longer than they told me originally, and this was with any amount of money. I found the ones you would have to wait forever, be super unreliable, and were just total idiots when it came to communication in general, would give you the best/most shit.. so it never really became that much of a problem.

I can recall many a day fiending and being anxious for like 8 hours just doing nothing but staring at my phone... very happy i don't have to do that anymore.

The 3 biggest reasons why dealers take so long...

1. They don't have anything, but want to string you along so you don't go elsewhere.

2. They're smoking pot with their friends & or just don't give a fuck

3. Their clients are holding them up. You think dealers are late to show up. Try lining up 10 deliveries, and each one is late, tries to sob story a discount, draws attention to themselves, & various other things. And you can't tell everyone to just meet you because they would all swarm you at once at the cops would be all over that in a second.

BTW, sometimes the cops are nearby and gotta give some time for them to clear out.

Where I live dope is so expensive you'd have to be on the in and in to spend less than say 40 bucks, it sucks/ I mean I haven't been in a situation where I've been turned down only wanting to buy 20 worth but for the avg Joe, its higher

A few of my connects have told me point blank "dont even call me unless you're working with a bill ($100) or more". Most times I try to have this since I have to drive a ways to get anything, and it isnt worth my time to make 2-3 trips/day. I could give a fuck about theirs (tho I show up on time). Dealers that cant read a fkn clock dont last long ime, ppl WILL call up plan B (or C or D or Z) rather than wait all day or hours on someone. I only call with 20-40 if someone is very local

Reminds me of back when I was in high school (before my first job) and rarely ever had money. Any money I got I would try to save for/spend on weed. One time I remember hitting up my dealer asking for a ten sack and wanted him to drive to me hahaha. He never texted me back. Now that I think about it, I woulda done the same thing to myself.

lol. when i was in HS, few even had pagers. my parents? that was Star Trek teck to them. my how 40 years changes a lot...

I've had a few dealers that had a minimum you could buy, like they wouldn't break apart bundles or you had to buy $x amount for them to come meet you etc. But I usually found if you're not paying in singles and 5s or are trying to get only one or two bags they're usually cool with it. In the end $40 is still $40 in their hand. I did like to try to get more when I could cause I found that they seemed to be more accommodating the more you wanted, but fuck them as long as you follow their rules they have no reason to bitch. Where I'm from you go most of the way to them then they tell you where to meet so it wasn't an issue as to having to drive back across town. The small dollar amounts were just usually when they're tired they'll send out their 14 year old cousin in the car to sell it to you instead or something lol

Id feel embarrased to go get a 10 sack of bud from a dealer who im not tight with. Mind you it isnt dope, but I'd never go in for just a 5 sack. Is that like trying to get just 1 bag of dope?
