I periodically go mad and get a shoulder length bob. It never works out as I have kinky, thick fine hair and much prefer an extra half hour in bed than working with fucking straighteners at 7.30am :X Mostly I have long hair, it can be tied up and put into a bun for work. Ideal. At an inbetween stage at the moment :\ Driving me mad...
 
I used to find NMDA antagonists had a great effect on my bipolar and psychotic shit, but I can't afford to buy non-absolutely-essential drugs (ie benzos) at the moment. I'm on shitty dopamine antagonist antipsychotics and shitty lithium at the moment, which make me feel awful, but at least they keep down the psychosis and mania. Today I was with family and discussed memantine and diphenidine with them, and it looks like they might be hooking me up with some. Fuck yeah!

Delayed intake of antipsychotics? That's nowt in comparison with being responsible for neutralising & halting the exponential growth of homicidal rage & behaviour. Really.

Also, 1+1=2 in almost all cases but the probability wave has tetchy ends which can make it equal other things every now and then. Gotta <3 that quantum bizniz, eh? :D

(actually, i tell a lie, even quantum bizniz can't actually make 1+1=2 due to it being an actual fact - probability doesn't come into actual fact stuff but does work doozies on the more subjective elements dontcha know 8o)

A lot of antipsychotic drugs will blunt the effects of NMDA agonists completely.

In addition to this, diphenidine is not only pretty much lacking in the antidepressant action of the likes of ketamine / methoxetamine (it actually brought on a suicide attempt in me, in addition to semi-suicidal drug use) but it's been associated with several hospitalisations and possibly a death or two. My advice would be a firm don't.

I don't want to ask too many intrusive questions, but I can see that you dislike the regime of meds which you're on. I hope that you can discuss this with a doctor rather than trying to self-medicate. I can understand the urge to self-medicate, definitely, but I know that (for my condition at least) any and all attempts tend to end in ruin, and you're back to square one.

Lithium saved my life. It isn't ideal, and it stops me having quite as much 'fun' as I used to, but I wouldn't stop it for the world. You might feel differently, but there are different meds out there, and they are effective. Maybe they're not as much fun as self-administering dissociatives, but they could improve your quality of life to the point where you don't necessarily want to.

Benzos made(or make?) me semi-suicidal, though it took me 6 months for me to realize that. Now i see why docs are important.



that's weird how ketamine and MXE work on you. Like benzos with me i guess.
 
Eh? Never said ket or MXE made me suicidal. Quite the opposite. The latter made me deliriously manic.

I was saying that diphenidine sent me suicidal, if you read the sentence back again.
 
I just had a proper catch up with a friend who I haven't really seen for 2 years...

Had a nice chat about old Uni days, got a curry in & then watched an episode of True Detective. All in all, a great evening. :)

You could use old swivelly-eyes on your head to monitor the place for intruders, and Mr Weetabix to chomp on them until the police arrive.
 
Haha I didn't think of that, I'll take him with me next time =D Hey, I just got an email from the director of the company who asked me to do the cover saying he'd got feedback and I did a damn good job so I can do it next time they need someone. I was well chuffed. Also chuffed that I got the kitchen and living room cleaned by 10.40 today and that after a meeting at 2 I have nowt to do til Thurs <3

My snoo, aside from making progress in escaping the black hole of cynicism I've been trapped in for a couple of years, has been continued contact with my former best friend. Who I guess is possibly back on the way to 'best friend' status, but meanwhile it's fun reminiscing and rediscovering the reasons you ended up so close in the first place.

It's like an old couple splitting up for a few years and then giving it another try. Except I've actually done that, and it was an awful idea.
 
First bit of luck in my long run of misfortune this week. I have just been informed by my mother that my free phone upgrade is due now rather than in a few months like I thought. This is particularly good news as, as some of you may previously seen, my other good phone fucked up a couple of weeks ago and I have been forced to use my older one which is a right pain in the ass to text on.

Oh materialistic joy. Now I just need to choose which one I want.
