Didn't see something like this in the sticky, so thought I'd kickstart it.
I'm down to £20 after Christmas shopping. Looks like some of my close relatives are going to be stuck with cards. I hate bumming money off my rich aunt, as I'm sure she isn't as rich as she used to be, but I might have to. I have a big stockpile of eggs and noodles, plus I'm staying with my dad right now so I could get him to cook me something if I run out, so my essentials are covered, but this is still embarrassing. I get £240/mo education allowance and nothing else. I'm in the middle of an application for PIP, and am looking into housing benefit for when I move out for good (right now it's a to-and-fro between my dad's and a friend's). I'm hoping to get a volunteering gig soon to kickstart my CV so I can get a job. I haven't done my higher grades yet (I'm the oldest person in fifth year
), and my standard grades were a pile of shite, so I need experience to get a job,
