I was told to go to this forum for this subject I am a heavy beer and whiskey drinker from North Carolina. Would love to hear some of y'all stories bout heavy drinking. Hablo español tambien si quieren digame historias de bebeiendo porfa digamelos

Heavy drinking is only fun in moderation

Done daily it gets pretty old fast, dependency builds quickly in my experience. Needing a beer to feel motivated sucks butt, way better as a reward than as a tool of ignition

Now I'm a lightweight and my heavy drinking is closer to 12 drinks a day than 20. And I'm not a liquor guy. But I do know that its the best way to get completely fucked while raising the least amount of attention/suspicion. "Oh he's/she's just avin a drink" compared to "damn why is so and so passed out on the toilet with a belt on their arm"

I almost got arrested, was in estupor, totally unaware of what was happening, puked for 2 hours non-stop, my mother thought i was dead by the time i was going home.
looking back it wasn't funny at all, but damn i felt in heaven (it was only 0.5mg clonazepam + all the alcohol 30€ can buy).

I love drinking. Now, that being said, being dependent on it is another fucking story. My family is a buncha polacs so if there's a family even, better believe it's going down. My dude maS knows what it thizzzzzzzzzz!

Yes talking with you when we is drunk is fun / funny man, next time I get bombed on booze I'm blowin you up.

yeah i love passing a bottle of fortified wine around a flaming barrel under the bridge... that sounds groovy

im from Michigan where we have a brewery every 5 miles so of course i love to drink. Microbrews are my weakness. A good single malt scotch is also good from time to time but I stick to beer. Probably 3-4 a day

I pretty much agree with that... Getting hammered is a lot of fun, but more than almost any other drug, it stays this way only when the drinking sessions remain very occasional.

Apples
I didn't pick upon some bough?

(Calvados...
I'm drinkin'
Calvados
with nice cider sidearms)

But am I
bless'd &
&
Essence of wakesleep
is on the a'night,
The scent of houris: I am drownin' of'.
I cannot rub the blame a'
from mine slight
I got from looking thru -
a pain;
twas nigh-
I'm bib'd tre mournin' from the drinking true
(I know yo' feel it;
I know you do)

'n'held agast a'worl'o'
hoary grass.
I moult'd, an'
I let it fall and break.
But Ph's Wfe was well
Upon my way to sleep before it fell,
And I could tell
What f' my vis'
was about to make.
De Still
apples appear and disappear,
Stem'ed and breast'd end,
And every thrust o' Mars a'showing clear.
My outstep bridge not only keeps point break,
It keeps the pleasure o' a futuresound.
I feel the serpent
Bow & Bend

& I
Inner keep
hearin from a stellar bring -
A rumblin' sound
Of load on load
of apples coming in.

For I have had too much
Of virgin-picking:
I am overtired
Of the "great" harvest I myself desired.
There was'ten thousand 9thousand fruit to touch,
Cherish in hand, lift down, and not let fall.
For all
That struck the earth,
No matter if not bruised or spiked with stubble,
Went surely to the cider-apple heap
As of no worth.
One can see what will trouble
This sleep of mine, whatever sleep it is.
Were he not gone,
Aquila
could say whether it's like his
Lone perch'd rest
as I describe its comin'on,
Or just some
The Lord Blessed.

the drink is all good unless you mix it with benzos or opiates then you're dead fella

I agree with you about the dangers of mixing ethanol and opioids. But after one reaches a certain level of drug tolerance, I cannot see how one could conceivably obtain enough benzos or afford enough alcohol to quench their appetite and not feel like you're just guzzling H2O or popping skittles. In my experience, one either has to perpetually upgrade to more powerful pills (from lorazepam to temazepam to alprazolam to clonazepam to methaqualone to phenobarbital to secobarbital, for example), ad infinitum and ad nauseum, and/or resort to alcohol with an ever higher ABV content—from feminine Kool-Aid to unmitigated kerosene.

Don't get me wrong, combining alcohol and other CNS depressants is not for beginners or those sensitive or intolerant to the effects of sedative-hypnotics; barbiturates + booze seems to make for an exceptionally deleterious duo (barbiturates alone are lethal enough). But 3 or 4 liters of vodka sure does make one's monthly prescription last longer.
