Heroin Was my first heroin high typical or strange?

AS OF NOW WHILE I AM WRITING THIS, I AM INTOXICATED SO PLEASE FORGIVE ANY MISTAKES.

Just a few minutes ago, I picked up my first bag of H for free from my friend for free. It is Black Tar, as I am in California. I have little experience with prescription opiates, I have taken 25 mg of hydrocodone to achieve a euphoric sleepy state a handful of times. Generally, I have no tolerance to opiates. I opened the bag when I got home it was a paper folded in half, and when I opened it, it was sticky and hard to open. It smelled like barbeque with a hint of vinegar/strong smell. It was mostly a melted, light brown, sticky goo with a couple of thick dark brown dots of the same consistently. I use a tooth pick and scrape a dot of the thick goo on to a small square piece of alumimum foil, on the dull side. I take a hollow BIC pen tube and put in my mouth while I hold the foil in my hand. I use my lighter to heat the bottom of the foil and the "tar" dot bubbled and a thick white smoke came off of it, and a part of the tar turned to liquid and dried. I held the thick smoke in for about four seconds, and I exhaled a white cloud of smoke. I had ghosted the hit. Within 5 seconds, my eyelids swell and my eyes look glazed, I feel a warm numbness in my extremeties, my chest is numb, warm, and tingling. I am mentally slowed down, my reaction time is signifigantly decreased. My mind is foggy and clouded. My mouth is extremely dry, and the pungent taste is distinct in my mouth. I don't give a fuck about anything/can't care about anything. My limbs feel heavy but peaceful. I keep falling back inbetween a clear and a clouded, drowsy state of mind. I am writing this now. Was this Heroin or at least another opiate? Was it good heroin? The one dot was the size of the head of a toothpick. Are these the usual effects of heroin? How long should I wait to redose?

Not allowed to identify drugs, but theres no reason it wouldnt be dope. If 25mg of perc gets you high, feel lucky such a small amount of dope gets you high. After only using H for the last 10 years, it'd probably take me at least 200-300mg of oxy to feel anything. I think redosing on any opiate it stupid, you do as much as you can your first hit, then wait for it to wear off if opiate naive, or get sick if dependant. Redosing will not get you any higher, just make the duration of the high last longer.

That dosage seems oddly small, even considering your tolerance. When I first started using heroin, it would take a decent line for a good high (nearly a point/100mg).

Heroin feels just like any other opiate really. There's obviously more to it, it has a strong euphoria that neither oxycodone, hydrocodone or any other opiate gives me. I would say I feel much more relaxed/anxiety free with heroin than other opiates too.

I've never smoked it though. All snorted except one dose that was shot, but I had already eaten 80mg of hydrocodone that time.

That sounds normal except for the part where u said u got high off a dot the size of a tooth pick head. Even if it was 100% pure that size couldn't be more than 2-3mg of heroin which would be like 5mg of hydrocodone. Heroin is generally of low purity, I'm from Jersey where we have some of the purest dope in the country & the average purity is around 50%. But maybe tar is very heavy never had it before I just get an off white powder.

Woah 100mg sounds like too much for someone opiate naive. Remember heroin purity varys greatly.

I know, I should add I'm not recommending you start with 100mg. Maybe half of that. Just was mentioning in comparison to his tooth pick head sized dose.
