Uk: Why are trendies now so into mdma and laughing gas? and their damn house shuffle?

Those fucking turned up tight jeans with their nike trainers and shaved sides hair cuts and combed back hair.

These seem to be the 3 things that i see every single time im out now. They are all like robots doing thier shuffle. I know you could say the same aobut any dance craze doesnt make me hate these people any less.

The dance looks cool but every single moron does it they are so generic and lacking in creativity. I hate trendies. These are the types who would make fun of me in school. In fact they still make fun of me any chance they get now they seem to only feel good about themselves putting someone sel down. The 'popular kids'. Fuckers.

Thats why i hate that they have taken ahold of the rave scene. They havent taken on any of the ethos of rave culture they just take loads of mdma and wear some sort of oldstyle rave clothing and dace to the music and think they are 'living the life'.

Now they have taken the rave scene and are sucking all the life out of it like they do with everything else til theres only a burned out carcass left and they move on to the next flavor of the week.

These mindless trendy zombies have gone mad for mdma and gas in the past year or two. What caused their rise in popularity for them?

Its like theyve also gone mad for breaking bad and ruined the joke. They only seem to catch onto things years after something has been cool then when they do they think they are the coolest around and make fun of you for not being into it.

All the guys I knew from 2001 have got married, had kids and given up taking drugs every weekend.

Summer is too hot with no decent beaches, winter too cold without proper snow. They still don't know the difference between league and union.

They still pick on the uncool kids who can't dance and wear daggy clothes iirc
 
I worked there for almost a year but had the luxury of fly in fly out.

24hr day clubs were about the biggest highlight. Melbournites love to talk up the art scene but reality is there is nothing else to do. Every major city with over a million people has a cool art/music scene, sometimes you just need to be cool enough to find it without an invite.
 
yah it's like small towns in NZ has some fucking epic things to do if you know cool locals. stuff that you don't see in some parts of the world. i know there's cool stuff everywhere though just saying

eg play rugby and smoke meth. nar that was a joke but rly

It seems like you, in turn, are putting these people down to feel better about yourself, but what do I know.

I'm also pretty sure that "don't be a side-eyeing jaded dick who complains about ravers who in contrast to yourself seem to actually enjoy themselves" is part of the rave ethos.

What i think this fellas actually on about are tits who attend 'raves' as some sort of status symbol, i highly doubt they enjoy it as much as you think they do, they're much more concerned about looking cool, whatever the fuck that is.
 
Im not sure why all you aussies jumped on this thread when i clearly stated UK as the first letters in the title. I suppose cos you saw shuffle and immediately thought melbourne shuffle, but apparently you arenyt hip with the cool kids either because 'house shuffle' is somehting totally different thats is happening in the uk at the mo, check out youtube and you will see what tossers im on about.
