Is it normal?

I don't see why it wouldn't be normal. Maybe you just haven't found someone who gives you good enough sex.
 
I do wonder if it affects women in the same way it affects men. If a guy jerks off too much as opposed to having actual sex then it can interfere with things.. I mean if you're sensitized to your hand or toy as opposed to a real person then when the time comes your sexual desire might not be compatible with an actual human being.
 
I don't think there will be any affects in the future from masturbation. Maybe if having sex with a guy isn't working, you should try a girl.
 
I dunno. I can sort of understand preferring masturbation as your favorite way of reaching orgasm but, what about physical contact, ect? You can't replicate intimacy with your hand or a toy.
 
What is normal? A setting on a washing machine?

I don't think it's abnormal by any means. Why do you prefer it if you don't mind me asking? Because it feels better? Because you are uncomfortable being intimate with a partner? Or because you can't achieve orgasm with a partner? Etc?

I highly enjoy masturbating, but I definitely prefer a partner. It's more fun and I get a lot more turned on, which makes my orgasms more intense!
 
Honestly, it's not a big deal.
There are some days I prefer to masturbate and some days I prefer to have sex with my boyfriend.

Likely you just haven't found a guy that satisfies you which is perfectly fine. Sometimes it takes a while :)

sure its normal (whatever that is). Its also very effecient. not too much time spent on the relationship dancefloor.

"They" (those mysterious them) say sex is a microcosm of how we approach life. more than likely you are prudent, with a no frills attitude-but a bit selfish, since masterbation is is a selfish act. that's not a bad thing. i am stingy with my time. just make sure ypu have some level of intamacy with another person. we all should get outside of ourselves once in awhile
