How long were you able to conceal your drug use?

I feel like I've done a pretty good job of hiding my use from people but lately it seems like all the signs are obvious they just haven't pieced them together yet. Just curious about how long you guys have been able to hide drug use from people you didn't want to find out, be that the police, parents, employers, etc.
 
still haven't been caught by family, sooo... 7 years?
friends i always tell, what''re friends for after all? just couldn't let my Nan know, it'd hurt her so bad :\

The moment you realize the signs are obvious, everyone already knows! It takes the user a lot longer to figure it out. That was my experience anyway.

Can i ask what drugs you are using and why you think the signs are there?
 
Until a family member went to college for medical/nursing. Once they learned the signs of opiate use/addiction, I was busted out.

I remember hosting a party and her sitting on the sofa, tilting my chin and looking into my eyes saying "your pupils are restricted, what are you on?". Yep, no denying it.
 
The only time I got busted was for pot by my parents many years ago. They have no idea I've used any other drug, or that I'm still using drugs.

I'm not an addict though; most of the drugs I do are psychedelics, I live alone now, and I almost always use in private alone or with drug-friendly friends, so it hasn't been difficult to hide it from people who shouldn't know about my drug use.

opiates mostly but more recently methylphenidate. The signs, missing money (my money not stolen), mysterious late night trips to the store, frequent trips to the bathroom, missing medication, oh and openly making and using kratom tea, that last one is probably one of the more damning signs since I make it almost everyday.
 
1.5 years until mum found a bong of mine and tossed it in the trash. I still miss that bong.

From police? Many many years, like uh 7 or 8 (should still have my virginity on that one but getting caught when you're real high can happen)

I'm truthful with all my friends which I semi regret since they can't all handle it

Employers, it depends, but I usually hide it indefinitely.
 
all of about 2 months before my folks caught me smoking weed, and since then, they've known everything. at this point they just accept it, seeing as I don't do anything crazy and I'm somewhat functional.

should add, however, that I have never been caught with drugs by the police, just tobacco when I was underage lol

till I was 16 riding to do graffiti with 2 my boys, got caught (we did it the dumbest way possible really) and I had a stem in my pocket/baggie

all got wiped with this program for you, they let the stem thing go immediately though

and yeah like tryptamino they know mostly everything now and have come to live with it
 
Parents found out I smoked reefer about 2 weeks after I started using it but they did not mind and I still use it to this day.
 
I got busted by my parents smoking a joint in my bathroom with only the vent fan on, genius I know. They didn't really mind too much I was just told not to smoke in the house. that was about 6 months after I started smoking when I was 17, my parents now know I drink and smoke. I can't imagine what they would do if they found out what other drugs I've done.

I used to be a little too obsessed and vocal about my use to my friends which eventually lead to me losing one of my best friends for a while. All my friends used to know me as the crazy drug user and only in the past year has one of my best friends learned to accept that I use.

This is like the same story as me hahaha
 
been using close to 8 years now and only 2 people know that I do and that's only because I told them. My family and employer don't know I am very careful what I say and do, I've never missed work because of my use, I've been to work after being on a bender for days and having a comedown, and I IV my drug so I am super careful to make sure I don't have any track marks and I look after myself too. I'm scared of my family finding out they would be devastated and disappointed to say the least but this was my choice and its not anyones fault, I'm sure my parents would think they had done something wrong so I would never want them to feel like it was their fault
