Problem viewing some pictures

Can anyone suggest why I can see someone here but not others? For example, in my travel thread I can see all those pics Chatative uploaded for me but I can't see Inflos pic on the last post in the thread.

I also have quite a few pics in PMs that I used to be able to view but just get that annoying question mark thing now.

Any answers? Thanks.

You know me technologically clueless but suspect it will make no odds , however I have NSW'd it too now.

You may get annoying ? thing perhaps if people have removed/deleted link from imgur or similar...again clueless...

Any way shouldn't you be sat meditating on a big branch looking across a rice field, opium field or tea plantation or watching underage boys stabbing bits of metal through their skin and running around on hot coals something?

I'm sitting around waiting for a lift to Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in the world, allegedly. The lift is in an hour and there's only so much getting in and out of the guest house swimming pool one can do y'know? Did I mention the guest house is £7 a night? And breakfast is included?

Anyway...NSFW didn't work. I can see your pics, and my PM pics, on a hotel PC but not my IPad. Its mildly annoying but I'm sure a bit of Buddhism will help.

OOOH when do you get to see his tooth..or at least the box it is a 'believed' to be in? Totally ruined my zen post temple tranquility ,when I went outside feet were just missed by some old fucker spitting out some red betel nut ...hmmm score some of that shit..pictures with red stained teeth and how mildly stimmy it is may be umm interesting.

I have itchy feet..but as you know I am a holidaymaker..never a traveler...air con, starched sheets and a small serving boy on call kinda girl..but we must talk. Maybe I should just risk something more scary than a tuk tuk or a mosquito net with a hole in it once eh?

Oddly both the ones you can see and the ones you can't are both Jpeg but they do display differently when I open them.

Do you have the same problem on any 'normal' (as non bourgeois) device ?

My company issued me an iPad and I have the same problem with just a small square appearing in stead of the actual pic.

Think it's an automatic response to slow Internet connections. Refreshing a few times fixes it.

But riddle me this Allein. Why could I see them before? The ones in PM have just disappeared, but I've had them three months and always been able to see them. Is it just because my new hotel is slow connection and when I get a better connection they'll come back?

I can see them on another hotels PC. But that's no use to me. I want them on my bourgeois IPad. Refreshing doesn't help btw.

I have the same problem on my (Android) phone. Weirdly, pictures that are broken can be working again if I return at a later date (and vice versa). I still haven't worked out why this is happening.
