Summer, I posted. Cpl above asking a quest about a script from my dentist. I know someone else responded but wondering if I could get ur take on it?

I know, I'm sorry but I'm probably the last person that could give advice on that out of all the people on here. I don't have scripts for anything and know next to fuck all about prescription drugs in general. I'm just the resident teenage (oh no, wait... not anymore) stim queen and have only taken benzos a handful of times to knock me out after heavy binges. If you had a cocaine or mephedrone question I might be your girl, but in this case I can't help I'm afraid. Sure someone else will chip in soon though :)

haha, guilty as charged, of failing to properly read even the simplest of statements. Yeah i may be a dozey fucker sometimes, but i know what a third is, and that it less than half. :p

From what i gather they only script you just enough pills for each visit if you get overly anxious about them. I doubt you'd end up with more than a handful of benzos, and that would only be if you were having to undergo several days treatments. Unless your dentist happens to be a bit of a crook, but even then i dont think they could get away with it, i think every last pill has to be accounted for these days. Things arent as lax as they used to be. About 15 years ago i knew a girl who worked shifts as a nurse, rotating 4 on 4 off with days and nights, many of the nurses could get away with just helping themselves to diazapam from a stores cupboard, to make it much easier to adjust to the shift pattern. I'd be very surprised if things havent been tightened up there with that sort of practice being apparently very widespead amongs shift workers with easy access to such things.

Tbh I had to think about it, maths isn't easy on drugs (that's my excuse). But yeah, if I was on my third bottle of wine I wouldn't be in any state to be typing on here. In fact I've never drunk that much wine, have probably had the equivalent in spirits though. Drank over half a litre of JD once for example, plus other stuff.

It's very very rare I drink enough to get totally wrecked, I like being in control. One and a half bottles of wine plus a few spirits would do me nicely I think with the tolerance I have now, I used to be ok with a bottle of wine or less but hey, that's what everyday drinking will do. I don't feel particularly drunk after a bottle at all now... unless I down it really quickly or something.

He prescribed em last week. There is only 1 appt needed with 3 teeth he is gonna fix. Granted one of my besties is his assistant and she knows everything about me, from anxiety to tolerance, so I'm sure she is the one who told him how many. I'm just wondering what I'm to expect. The instructions say take 1 1 1/2 hrs before appt and 1 at office.. But I have 6..
Should I take 1 tonight to see how it'll effect me, to determine if I should take more then the 1 &1 on appt day?!?!
Just don't wanna do the 1&1 instructions, it not help like it's supposed to & have a panic attack. Had super bad experience in past with dentist, so besides knocking me out, this is the next best bet.

If you take one tonight you could very easily overseleep tomorrow morning by several hours. I wouldn't recommend that option.

If you have very low/limited tolerance, i wouldnt worry about what to expect. The only concern is getting there before you 'loose your legs' if you have no/limited tolerance. Honestly first time i took a benzo it was as if id drank 10 pints of beer, couldnt walk at all, Id allow plenty of time to get there before they kick in. Don't drive there, get the bus or taxi. Once there you will be in safe hands. Take the rest with you if you are worried if 2 might not be enough. I also wouldnt worry about snapping at the dentist, if you offend him he might not be as gentle as he might though :p Just kidding. Sorry couldn't resist.

To conclude i would say you have nothing to worry about. Most likely you'll just feel completely relaxed and contented. If benzos do make you snappy, the good thing is that you wont give a shit. Manners, etiquette, none of that will matter. You might just fall asleeep throughout the entire thing. Ive only tried RC benzos so dunno if clonaz is higher on the hypnotic or anxiolytic scale. It might be an allrounder. I wonder why he has chosen a relatively unusual benzo, dont most dentist go for the predictable diazepam:?

Same, although could just about walk but took me some effort to stand up and was staggering around bouncing off the walls getting around the house

What doses are we talking here? 10mg diaz? Isnt that like 1 pill? Thats not that much of abuse,is it?
 
From the limited info ive read about what you were prescribed the half life is very short. Taking 1 tonight sounds sensible to me. Using a benzo equivalence table they look to be around as potent weight for weight as xanax. If you took 3mg of xanax before a dentist appt you would be asleep in the chair with no tolerance. Take one tonight and titrate your dosage accordingly, what they have advised seems sensible to me. Giving you 6 sounds like a cock up.
