There's nowt funny about The Auld Triangle, Daniel. It was the last song I ever performed in front of an audience. Unless you count Piccadilly tramps and long-suffering girlfriends as an 'audience', that is.

I did it a capella, as no other fucker knew it. It went down pretty well. Got chatted up by a bloke afterwards, and didn't even notice it was a come-on at first because I quite enjoyed hearing him wax homosexual about how great I was.

Rock and roll helps you pull, I guess.

In fairness Herr Kingme I really am exceptionally spangled ...think on day 3 of wide awake spangle club (yesterday?) it was probably the car pictures...and over to Herr InflO

I can only apologise for Inflo - evidently she is spangled and discerned something Germanic in you, after 3/4 days, I'm surprised she can discern anything... Incidentally, I don't suppose you could drop us a couple of Starbars round could you? Starving :) <3

Ideas people??? Not crappy kids ones the apps/games cost a fortune. I bought her leap pad 2 aew years back n the games are like £15 i cant afford that on benefits. My iPad had cheaper games for her to use Peppa Pig but im not prepared to let a 5 year old use something that cost my parents £450. I'm extremely funny with my possessions, always have been.

The deal is that Father Christmas will give her a tablet if she continues trying with her reading n writing. And if she stopped the elves will take it away again. Mean mam me. But ya gotta discipline them or they turn out wild innit?!

Thanks will look. I really need something that I can get from Argos as I've got the Parks love2shop vouchers. Will take a look at their website later.

Was thinking of the amazon fire but not sure if thats suiitable for kids. I need to look into oarental control as under NO circumstances is she allowed on Facebook, forums or any form of social media. I feel they can be extremely damaging to kids plus you never know who you can meet.

I've been affected by meeting a pedo whos now in prison n im a grown woman so goodness knows what danger she could come across.

Agreed although not due to the perceived risk of paedos, children should be learning how to bond with others in offline situations. Facebook narcissists skew peoples perception of what a 'normal' life entails. Check me out, my life is so awesome! Yawn.
 
LOL. Yea. I need her to mix with others as she's an only child so try getting her into groups like Rainbows, after-school clubs etc. i've this right trouble-maker, whos 3 years older, try to befriend her. But not having that. Last time this child tried playing with mine, I'm sure she's stolen one of her toys but can't prove it. She seemed far too interested in my daughter's toys than actually playing with her. Annoyed me because my child's naive n really thought she wanted to play with her. I quickly made an excuse. Gave this girl another chance to play with my child (I wont let her out of the garden as she's only 5). So I had a paddling pool out for lilvibe as it was a hot day. This other girl wanted to play with her n I thought ok one time encase I've over-reacted. She came in, stripped herself complete naked, threw a towel in the paddling pool, kept turning on the outside tap n saying to another "say it was lilvibe doing it." Again I had to make an excuse to get rid of her after I had to dry her dress that she flung into thr paddling pool.

I also can't understand why a child want want to play with someone three years younger. I really need to get her to play with children her own age. After my parents stopped me playing with certain girls I swore that I'd never do that with my child. But I can't have her playing with children who use her, are trouble-makers, use her or steal her toys!
