You like Lanegan, don't you? I've still got to investigate, beyond the Trees and the collaboration with (ick, my then-girlfriend's icon) Isobel Campbell, which I think suffered from being a bit too consciously Nancy/Lee. His voice is the kind of voice I like though. Purely coincidentally, we sing in a similar register. ;)

I just can't get past Gira when I'm in the mood for moody male baritones these days.
 
Yes, I do rather.. it seems to suit the autumnal weather quite well too. And agreed.. the Isobel Campbell stuff was a bit on the twee side for my liking.

And you can sing? Heh, I want to hear that now.

I said I sang, I didn't say I could actually sing!

But yeah, I've performed solo and in bands. There's a certain Mancunian music journo who can't hear my name without shaking his head and refusing to elaborate on the time he recruited me. To this day.

This is all far less exciting than abybody posting music, so I'll stop my reminiscences right here.
