Please help explain what I'm going through. I quit cold turkey two Saturday's ago. Was talking bout 40 10mg hydrocodone a day for bout 6 months. I just took 6 because I'm so tired and needed a pickup to do honey do chores at home. The withdrawal left me with no energy. Am I gonna withdral again

You're obviously still withdrawing. It takes way more than 2 weeks to return to normal. But it will eventually pay off...

how many days was it since u quit cold turkey? u said 2 saturdays ago but im not sure if ur sayin 10 days or 17 days. 40pills of 10mg hydro is alot to cold turkey from brother. you should of lowered you dose before that. glad u were able to abstain for that long.

It's been 10 days. I been doing so good but still no energy at all. Just took some to get things done. U think it will hurt me

thats was a high dose u quit from. i would say u would need 10-14 days of being clean before dosing again would NOT cause withdrawls. again i am just another users take this with a grain of salt

heres my post on my clean story and how i used after 8 days of being clean. if ur unsure/dnot know 40pills of 10mg hydro is more opaite then 1or2 bags of heroin.

how did those 6 pills make you feel? compared to when u were taking 40 10s how many did the 6 make it feel like u took?

i think you might go back into withdrawls, however i dont think it will start u on day 1, it might just take you back a few days.


also.. thats ALOT of APAP. what kinda pills are you taking. you are/were on a serious path to injureing your insides in a serious way. taking 40 pills that contain even the lowest amount (325mg) of APAP/asprin/tylenol is very harmful to your kidney and liver

The pills gave me energy just like taking 10-15 at a time. I'm so frustrated but have tried to get my energy back but ain't happened. I am however out and can't get more. I suffered ten days with those pills to show myself I can do it

i think u might be okay. but only time will tell. if you do get withdrawls i dont think it will be as bad or as long as your last quit session.
 
Thanks bro I'm all alone on this. I can't tell my family I would lose them it's been a nightmare

just to make sure you know what im talking im not talking about the hydrocodone which is what was giving you the high and is what u are/were dependant on. im talking about the other active ingredient when i say APAP/asprin that is deadly in thoughs amounts
 
Cant stress enough about the APAP or other actives in the hydrocodone 10mg/???mg pills you were taking.
They usually come with a shit load of APAP (Tylenol) in them in addition to the hydrocodone that is making you high.
It can cause liver failure and or disease.
Please be careful.

As far as making it 10 days.. you were halfway through the battle, 6 pills on one day wont set you back too far.
Think of it as putting the wds on pause.

You have to wait and see in most cases doing this can reset the withdrawals but we can't say for sure how bad those pills you took are going to make you feel.
Every time I've used in withdrawal I've reset the whole process even small doses. I don't know if there is such a thing as pausing the withdrawals

I always wished I could have paused feeling shitty during detox just get high and then go back to my withdrawal with no consequences but most of the time you don't get that lucky once your receptors are flooded with opiates again then its basically back to the beginning. You did have some time in before taking them so you may have avoided resetting the whole detox but generally relapses don't come without Consequence's.

^^this too they shouldn't be as bad as when you last quit but usually there are some symptoms from a relapse like this

Even if you were cold water extracting that shit (which as I understand you were not) that is a mega dose of hydro. Close to what I take but stopped because it just doesn't get me high anymore.
You may have stunted your recovery for a bit but I don't think you'll withdraw , but you will FEEL withdrawn if you focus on it and mentally put yourself in that shit pit. Speaking from someone who had a similar habit ... whats done is done , move forward. Post withdrawal syndrome is very real and will leave you with all kinds of fun shit like depression and low energy . It's temporary considering you stay on the "right path".
 
yeah man it takes some time to reset all that. I was clean for at least 2 years before ever trying opiates again. haven't had any w/d's since, including once when I had a two week run where I was taking like 20-50 mg daily, not even from that did I feel any w/ds.


but your doses are much higher than that. I couldn't imagine cold turkey-ing from 400mg a day of hydro. ugh...

Ya...gotta give the guy props for kicking that cold turkey. I had a similar habit and didn't sleep at all for 5 days when I kicked. Unbearable leg pain , depression, mania , all that fun stuff.
