Maybe there's something happened to the main source of supplies of etiz to the UK. The market was initially flooded with proper pharma grade Intas Etilaam blister packs, but these gradually became more and more difficult to obtain, i bought 2 big boxes of them for bulk purchase discounts, but by now i only have a few bundles of those proper blister packs left.

One by one every source of the proper pharma grade pills switched to their own pressed pills, whether it was due to customs seizing the blisters or vendor greed for greater profits, probably a bit of both, i dont know. But now its going to become difficult to obtain even shonky vendor pressed etiz pills. Thank fuck for other sources of etiz in powder form, I will have to stock up, before/incase they run out of stock too, otherwise i will be totally up shit creek.

It really isnt that bad, the horror stories seem to stem from people who don't plan a proper taper and end up having seizures or plummet into mental instability by cutting their dose way to quickly.

IME the biggest issue is the time it takes I'd have much rather just CTd and got on with whatever pain that brought but that isnt an option for benzos (as you know), You know my best advice already, make a written plan (excel if your obsessive like me;)) get enough in to see you through, if it get too uncomfortable stay on that dose until you feel up to taking it down .......try, really try never to go back up. I can say with confidence that you will be better off in terms of anxiety and mental well being without them.

Booze might well make things easier but don't end up with a drink problem, having had a problem with both I'd have to say I'd rather be still taking 200mgs of Diaz a day than drinking a bottle of whiskey, not that either is a great look
 
Thanks for the encouragement and avice. I remember your PMs from years ago, i think you were the first person to mention The Ashton Method tapering process to me. For one reason or another it has seemed easier not to even bother to seriously try to start tapering. But with the current dwindling suppliers issue and a deepening recognition of the potential problems long term use can cause it really is time to start. I have started already, trimmed 1mg off my bedtime dose over the last week, without really noticing any difference. I expect it will be relatively easy whilst im still on pretty high doses, if and when it starts becoming more problematic I'll definately take my time over things. But not too much time.

Good point. I only saw it from Summer's point because my parents did something similar. But yea it must be frightening for parents too.

Can people please look at the last post in the dodgy aMT thread and spread the word, thank you. Basically, the same stuff that landed me and Pagey in hospital with cardiac arrest/defibrillation has just been reduced in price again on another popular uk vendor's site.

might dose some etizolam later or tonight if i can hold off. it can keep me awake if i do not go to sleep within one hour of taking it and jet-lag from flying. I don't quite feel like my abnormal self yet which has resulted from the weekend.

had a combo going of: meph, MXE, weed, alcohol, codeine plus some etizolam at the end. this was over the night, not doing that again lol.


Damn that is heavy about the amt. good to know that all is good in the end but this is just crazy if this bad batch is going around.

Totally random anyway I can watch 4od without adverts in-between? Moaning Mr Mist...up at crack of sparrow-Work? I have more civilised things planned...I barely recognise myself anymore eeek!
