I was an oxy addict for a year until about 5 or 6 months ago. I was poor so I never did more than 80 mgs a day but the norm was 40-60 mg.
I got a 50 mcg patch matrix kind and cut it in 4 pieces. I put two on my upper bicep about 13 hours ago and have a very very mild buzz nothing overwhelming. I just put a third piece of the patch on and i dont plan on putting on the last piece of the patch cuz I gave it away.
Am I being a retard or shld I be ok? if I feel the way iIdo after 13 hrs of wearing half the patch is it terribly dangerous to have applied the third piece like I have?
Ill take it off before it kicks in if I must.

And btw though it has been 6 months since I was physically dependant If I take say 3 or 4 oc 15's now I
still just barely feel it if that helps.

i can't particularly answer this question, as fentanyl ROCKED MY WORLD when i was using 300 mg of morphine daily. I don't think you'll die...? is what i'm trying to say. but nice s/n.

These patches give off tiny pulses not enough to get you high just some pain relief. Its when people break the patches down and shoot them in on go there is a huge chance of an overdose.
In theory you should live but if you start to feel weird then take it off and watch your breathing/ call 911 if you feel its serious. Some are more sensitive to the drug and some are even allergic to the patch itself.

Firstly thank you for the reply. Second, I must disagree with it not getting you high because 8 hours later after applying the third piece (i apllied the first two pieces at 11:30pm last night) of the patch im def getting a solid buzz.
Hopefully it does not progress to something overwhelming or dangerous.
What shld I be watching out for? Ive never rlly over dosed seriously.

Well with these patches it's usually too late once your overdosing even if you take it off some will still be absorbed through the skin for a while after its removed. You know your body so watch for any shallow breathing or nodding that you can't control if this happens get help asap.
I assumed if you had a opiate tolerance it wouldn't get you high but you must just have a small habit most addicts don't get much euphoria from sticking a patch on as directed but 40mgs oxy isn't much. I know it never did much for me but i supose we all have different ideas of what a ''high" is. 50micrograms is a moderate dose to take every hour for your tolerance. I know pain patients who opted for fent patches specifically because they didn't get them as "high" as quick release oxy or hydrocodone. But Nevertheless if you feel its overwhelming don't wait take the patch off scrub the area well and if you feel you need medical attention call for help.
