GBL to GHB dose ratio

I used to use GBL fairly frequently when it was legal but I haven't done so since it was illegal. I have the opportunity to acquire some GHB now but having never done GHB directly I am not sure what dose to take. I recall from my GBL days that there was a dose equivalency ratio of around 1.6 x GBL in mL = dose for GHB in grams. Is this correct?

Anyone else got any advice from an experienced GBL user to GHB ingestion?

In general GHB is less potent than GBL, if that's the right way to explain it. If your dealing with GHB powder, I'd start with a g maybe less and work your way up.

I'm not a fan of either but GHB's onset is slower and in general it's a smother ride than GBL which just makes me hurl:D

There is a problem with using other peoples' dosage comparisons cos nobody is likely to have much of a clue about the concentration of GHB cos it almost never comes in pure powder form. I've never come across it as anything other than thick, gunky, ubersalty liquid myself. In pure form 1ml of GBL is generally said to be equivalent to 1.6g of GHB powder. How pure anybody's GBL and GHB is is anybody's guess unfortunately

GHB is much more gentle and forgiving than GBL but also lasts a lot longer so if you do overstep the mark you are more likely to be KO'd for quite some time. Personally I'd advise titrating over time - over several days realistically to be safe about it. Another way I found useful when using a new batch would be to use it almost as I would a spirit - small amount with mixer in a long drink sipped not swigged. I found this worked excellently to keep me on a level where I'd have to work at overdoing it enough to KO myself. It is possible to make it taste quite palatable but it is spectacularly salty so I'd go for summat ultrasweet to balance it out a bit. And obviously nothing alcoholic cos that's just a Bad Idea in general with GBL/GHB.

Its a shame because GHB ALWAYS used to come in powder form before they banned it. It did where I bought it from anyway. I'd say 1 to 1.6 is a fair ratio I'd also say everyone's sweet spot differs and I've yet to meet a regular taker of either who hasn't at some stage, several stages even, knocked themselves out cold. I've done it on top of a TV (collapsed I mean) and not once but twice with my cock in my gf. That doesn't go down too well with the gf in case you are wondering. I also believe Treacle has done this too. But its almost inevitable. The gap between euphoria and unconsciousness is infinitesimal.

I also wake from GHB KO without a clue I've passed out, imagining I had my eyes shut for just a couple of seconds. Turns out its more like an hour.

Myself and the then Mrs Shambles had an agreement in place that whoever passed out and clearly wasn't gonna come around again "in time" got to finish no matter what. I believe this is a common arangement amongst couples who like their Guice

Yeah, I've only ever had "homebrew" GHB. Wasn't so easy to get hold of in any other way in that period between it being banned and "those sites" emerging. You did used to be able to buy GBL by the gallon on eBay for tuppence ha'appeny or so though. I can say that now cos you can't anymore.

Also, I got my "whoever passed out..." bit backwards I think. The conscious one got to carry for as long as his/herself wished to was the gist of it anyway. It actually did happen both ways too. Geebsex is goooooooooooood sex... although continuous consciousness can be an issue :D

I've passed out literally hundreds of times, in some of the most awkward and embarrassing ways, when I used to hammer GBL. I don't recall it happening often during sex, because of how determined I am to finish. G sex really is the best. Throw some speed in there, and it just becomes depraved, it's fantastic. :D

I've had GHB powder, quite recently, and found it the same as when I used to make it myself. I never actually dried it out to a powder, because it was much quicker and easier to dose a liquid. GHB is definitely more forgiving, either when you take too much, or you want to stop a 24/7 habit. I do prefer the kick from GBL, because it kicks in quicker than GHB, but they both end up peaking the same, so I don't really have a preference. As stated, 1ml of GBL = 1.6 grammes of GHB.

ive never had gbl, and the only kind of ghb ive tried has always been a kind of gunky powder that gets more watery as time passes.

That is why. Converted GHB will come out as clean powder. Dependent on how I did it, I could get chunks of GHB. Always liked that better as it was easier to weigh. I also have never noticed the powder/chunks retain any moisture. I was pretty meticulous with it though.
