Opioids cant get high on hydros after taking suboxone?

Hi all, this is my first post and i am new to this website so pardon me if i am not posting this in the right place...

So, let me tell you my story.

I have used opiates in the past before taking suboxone. my tolerance was pretty low, 15-20mg of hydrocodone would get me in a good spot and ive only taking percocet a few times, i would take about 10-15mg of that... (Im a female, 91 lbs and 5 feet 2 inches)
But, recently I had been taking more hydrocodone than usual this month. 15mg the first couple times this month then i moved up to 20mg.
A friend told me he could get suboxone (8mg strip) so i bought it. The strip was all cut up and i didnt know how much to take honestly. I did research and saw that its really potent and if you dont have a high tolerance a small amount could get you pretty sick. I took the smallest amount i could, and keep putting a little more under my tongue until i felt something (i was waiting between each dose).
The high was amazing to be honest, but after about 6 hours I had a massive migraine and i vomited once.
I waited three days after that to take hydrocodone again. Ive taken it a few times since i took the suboxone and i am not getting high like i used to? 20mg doesnt do anything for me anymore. Whats wrong here? please help

LET ME ADD: i have tried to take more hydrocodone after the suboxone (up to 25mg) and still am having the same problem

How long since it been since you have had the Suboxone and how many MG did you take of if? Or do you know how many MG you took of it? It has a long half life and some is probly still in your system, so it could be blocking the hydro...and just some advice if are just doing 15mg of hydro a few times a month stay the hell away from Suboxone, it's not the most euphoric drug anyway and is something like 32x more potent than Morphine, it gets people with little tolerance or people who don't take it for maintance pretty buzzed. I've been on it 10 months(maintaince) and if I want to feel Hydrocodone I have to stop taking the Subs for 3 days and then take 100mg(don't do this!!!! I have a toleracne, as in I can do 8 30mg Oxys in a day Iv'd and still seem normal to people around me...this is the kind of people Subs were made for, not people taking 15mg of hydro a few times a month). Just give it a week to get out of your system and try again with 20mg of hydro or so.

Yeah, like mentioned, absolutely no reason to take Subs if you're only ingesting 15 to 20mgs of hydro to get high.......last thing you want is to ruin your tolerance right off the bat.

If you're doing it to get high, stretch out the weakest opiates like codeine & hydrocodone as long as possible so you can keep your tolerance low enough.

its been 9 days since ive taken the suboxone. Im not sure how many mg i took but i know it was less than 2mg. probably .75mg? Yeah i realize now i made a mistake, i regret it completely
i took 30mg of hydrocodone over an hour ago and still nothing im thinking i should stop for awhile...

Damn...that's all you took??? That's not even a blocking dose really...are you sure your getting Hydro pills still? Maybe do a google search by typing the letter/number/color of pill on google. If it's been 9 days then thats is totally enough time for that to be out of your system...I mean I've done under a MG of Sub and then taken something else later in the day and still feel it, not as strong, but still felt it...maybe take a break if what your getting is still hydro. The person giving them to you could also be giving you a lower MG amount and saying there tens and your really getting 5's or 2.5mg or something like that.. I dunno maybe take a break for a little bit. Opiate habbits are no fun except in the begining....

took 30mg of hydrocodone when i posted this (i feel dumb now because i should have waited longer after seeing the replies) and at first i was only a little high, and then i smoked some weed and the high has definitely increased because of that. (i know the difference between highs ive been smoking weed for 5 years)
im going to take a break for a month or so, see how that works.

ok SO buprenorphine is for people that are hard core opiate users and it is a drug that stays in your system for a long time. 20 mg of hydro is a very small amount no wonder you puked from the bup.
anyway the bup will def make your tolerance stronger and faster. It could take up to a week or so to feel the hydro and you might even have to take more like 30 mg to feel the same effect. Mean while after taking hydro and bup and hyfro your tolerance is slowing going up so you will have to start taking more and more anyway. Just becareful with the bup because it takes a while for you to feel it and it keeps you fuked up for 24 hours atleast

Ive been weening myself from a gram a day heroin habit with subs since july. I said "fuck doin 24mg a day" (as suggested) and started with one strip cut up in pieces as needed and im down to abt 2mg in morning/ 2 at night just to fend off the very last of the symptoms( i know, i should just stop but thats beside the point right now) anyways, its 5:45, my symptoms are slowly returning and i have an oxycodone. will such a small dose still prevent a high? even if i am already feeling WD?

Your tolerance isn't ruined now, no. You probably just needed to wait a few more days until all of your opiate receptors were free. I personally like suboxone compared to short acting opiates like hydrocodone because it lasts a lot longer. For me, after taking suboxone for some years now, I've kept my dose at around 3mg a day and still get a slight warmth and in a chatty mood. It's all subjective really. I know a girl who loves oxycodone but for me, oxycodone has never done much unless I'm in withdrawal and even then, it only lasts a few hours.
