Heroin Heroin redosing question

hi everyone
so earlier this evening i snorted a line of heroin, but i didn't get much high, so later (like an hour and a half) i snorted another line, this time bigger.
this time i got a bit higher but still not much.
was it because redosing is inefficent or because i have to up my dose a lot?
the question is: am i safe increasing significantly my dose or i didn't get very high the second time (even though i increased the amount snorted) because i redosed 1+ hour later?

I would say that spacing the dose out an hour+ later certainly played a role in you not getting much higher.Heroin takes effect quickly,even when snorted so If I wasn't high after say,20 minutes after snorting I would have done more(ammount of redose depending on how that first line felt).I certainly never found redosing heroin to be inefficient,it always seemed to add to my previous dose unless I redosed WAY later or had reached that point where you're only gonna get but so much from it.Your tolerance and the quality of the dope also come into play.I'm gussing you have some degree of tolerance to heroin and also guessing this batch wasn't as strong as what you normally get.If I wasn't getting high from X ammount of dope I would certainly have redosed significantly soon after realising the first dose wasn't doing the job.Again,this is assuming you have at least a fair ammount of dope experience and you normally get pretty good stuff.Was the first line you did about the standard dose for you?If so,and you have a pretty good relationship with the dope man I would let him know that batch isn't any good.Lots of heroin dealers don't use it themselves and go by customer feedback.Then I would have gone and scored from someone else(if getting a dope high was important or neccessary and you had the funds to do so).So to answer your question,I think you would have been safe redosing if the first didn't do much and spacing the second dose that far apart didn't help your high.

You might have waited too long to redose. I've found with all opiates, but especially heroin and oxy that if you wait too long to redose, the redose will only make the high longer, and not get you higher.

Yeah, Stotched is right in that redosing opiates usually just makes them last longer and not necessarily stronger. Although there's been plenty of times that I've redosed certain opiates and have had my buzz increased, but it would probably just last longer as stated above. It depends a lot on your tolerance also. Do you use heroin daily? If your tolerance is non existent or low, it might have something to do with the heroin not being that strong or possibly heavily cut.

Sounds like it's weak heroin you should be high you have virtually no tolerance if I remember correctly your not an addict so you should be throwing up from doing two lines so close together like that.

Yes, redosing will increase the length but not necessarily the immediate high, unless it's quite close together. At least for me that's how it was. Insulfating also may take a little longer, but not that long. That's why I used to smoke (mostly, not always), but 1, 2, 3 hits back to back.. and then was high for sometime, then the same thing in the afternoon, then again at night. Snorting was a better high though and lasted longer than smoking.

yes it was indeed weak.. i did a speed-sized line yesterday and i felt good but not as high as i wanted..
i'm not buying heroin anymore it costs too much and is not worth the risk fuck you can get a bag that does shit and the next one could kill you.. and i'm already craving it a little bit fuck that shit if i want to get high i'll buy a sub..

how big of a lne is a "big line?" you could of actually done a pretty small line because your big line could be equivalent to my small line. how much did you do in total?

for a first time i recommend someone snorting atleast 0.1-0.2g. if it is someone who doesnt do heroin really much, chances are their heroin isnt strong.

mmh maybe it wasn't that big, but i wanted to play it safe you know.. i actually think it was standard strenght heroin (surely not very pure, but i think you can't get much stronger heroin around here) it's just that i staggered the doses too much.
well nevermind. i'm definitely better off like this, if i got an orgasmic high i would crave it much more.
