The EADD a trifle annoyed thread.

Nevermind just phones, it'd be so much better if everyone/everything could read my mind when needed. As far as mind reading phones go though, surely we've got enough knowledge/technology to make it happen nowadays? If not then we can't be that far off. I like techy stuff, computers and phones (apart from predictive text and shitty battery life) are amazing, wish I knew more about it all really, I'm pitifully untechy for someone my age.

Glad the neighbours at my houses aren't too bad. The people next to my mum's have a newborn baby which I was worried about at first but you literally never hear it. Halls at uni were a nightmare though, I had a room right next to the kitchen so when I wasn't going out and other people in the flat were the noise was insane. Had to invest in expensive ear plugs in the end, worth it.

Yes i have earplugs and i do use them, I have a job and a school age child so music and parties at night are a big disruption for us, I try not to judge those without work or in different circumstances but damn people can be selfish.

You have my sympathy karma. I remember the days of loud neighbours. Shitsville. Stick with the Buddha (or Beastie Boys) bit, rather than the violence bit...but I know how you feel. Why would you want to give up spliff though?

Just think its better to have a clear head for a while, got a job i need to keep and my decision making is not great when stoned.

My sympathies too karmanaut.

Neighbours THREE doors down can be special too ... where you can literally. truthfully FEEL the vibrations of repeat, anger induced door slams continuously while youre sat in bed 3 houses away, at 7am on a Sunday morning ... then waiting for the rest ..... and then it comes and you can hear the yelps of the dog as it's being 'trained' or used for anger management.

Sometimes it's hard to like humans. Sometimes.

Nasty. many years ago there was neighbours a few houses across on the next row down that very often were slamming doors, shouting at each other, the fat mother shouting at her kid then a few minutes later you'd hear the little girl crying her eyes out, fucking people

Fuck cunty neighbours. At my last flat some people moved in that would have parties almost every night. They set the fence on fire, they threw a chair through their living room window, one of them was on a tag and used to stand in the front garden begging for cash after curfew so he had money for alcohol, they let their dog roam around shitting everywhere, the same dog also killed someone elses dog. Thank fuck I dont live there anymore

I will be honest i did fall at the first hurdle here, the neighbours upstairs were thinking its funny to play tunes yesterday afternoon and last night till 3am and i woke early in a mood and got the police called on me for playing loud classical music at 8am with my windows open, not sure if it was Aled Jones or Bryn that was the problem but i think classical music must be out of fashion at the moment, at least that loud anyway. Think i woke my entire postcode.

Whichever, i was told by Mr Policeman that these flats dont have much sound insulation (think i knew that already!) and could i possibly consider those still in bed.

Feel slightly bad i didnt rise above it all, But damn, classical music at volume does get me going, Hallelujah.

After several run-ins with neighbours, police and loud music several years ago I do believe you can play music more or less as loud as you like between 8am and 11pm so were probably within your rights to tell Mr Policeman to sod off then turn it up louder. Admittedly that probably doesn't go down too well but 8am is fair game as far as I'm aware. Same reason that builders and other noisy bugger workmen and/or neighbour DIY sessions tend to start around that time presumably.

Yes he didnt really seem that bothered about it tbh, its not the usual behavior i would generally get up to but what else to do.

I think it's just one of those things, they get a complaint & they have to follow it up. Not like Mr. Plod actually cares.

That's always been my impression too. Never had any complaints myself but generally, I've never put anything on excessively loud on a regular basis....

Only just saw this. I'll remember that next time my fucking neighbour decides to mow his lawn at 7 in the morning (he does this often).

I'm vaguely annoyed at the moment because I woke up from my lovely nap, rubbed my eye and found that my eyelid is all sore and slightly swollen. I hope it doesn't get worse, will really piss me off if it begins to affect my vision. Wonder what's wrong with it.

If it's conjunctivitis I might just kill myself instead tbh, had it when I was younger and have extremely negative memories of it. I think it might be some kind of bug bite, hope so.

I, for one, don't want your legacy to be a posthumous bloody mess and a load of coked up BL posts. Perhaps try some ointment first and we'll take it from there ;)
