Opiate/morphine withdrawal, Clonadine?

How much Clonadine for someone who takes 100 MG of morphine daily, intravenously? I am playing nurse to a friend who just ran out.

Oh, and he wants to know if it suppresses his least favorite part of withdrawl: the cramping and vomiting. He gets full blown hellish withdrawal.

FYI... Typically I use a combination of Adderall and tramadol to pretty much eliminate withdrawal symptoms. But I'm out of tramadol. I figured out how well this combo works on my own. I tried so several remedies suggested on this site and they didn't work well. This works well. I've tried it on several people (I like to play nurse) and they were all surprised at how effective it was. Just one of the two medications does little to help... It has to be combined. If anyone wants to try it:

Dosing for a person taking approx daily dose total of 60 MG orally:
1 Adderall 15 or 30 MG. Take 1 pill every 12 hours.
2. Tramadol 50mg pills. Take 6 pills every 6 hours.

I just did rapid detox and they sent me home with 30 .1 clonidines to be used on a taper schedule. First week 1 in the am 1 at noon and 1 at night week 2 1 am and 1 pm, the week 3 just at pm. The also gave gabapentin for nerve pains and somas for cramps. Hope that helps

Somas in Canada ? That must have been a long time ago, we had those removed around 1999/2000. Muscle relaxant when rx'd here are often shitty yellow houses (Flexerils) or maybe if lucky a low dose benzo known for its muscle relaxant effects. Too bad tetrazepam isn't available here, its worthless recreationally, but wonderful for that effect it seems.

This is solid advice since you had it prescribed by a doctor at those doses for withdrawals. Whenever I used it for withdrawals I took it the same way, or sometimes just took 0.2mg at night.

Just know that it will make you very 'sluggish' so it's best to use it while home on bed rest. If you are still working then just take it at night after work, but not too late as it causes a mild hangover (just the sluggish feeling I mentioned already) and since it lowers your bp you can become very lightheaded if you stand up too quickly.

This topic is for Other Drugs so I'm moving it there.
