Hi guys.

Ive been thinking recently about particular things I like to do daily. There are a few things that I consider mandatory for me to do.

If I had to make a list of them I would say they would be (in no particular order):
- Eating healthily
- Going for a walk/run
- Reading
- Meditating
- Socializing

Like I said, Ive just been thinking about how these routines, while they may not be important to others, are what I think are the main ones I try to do.

Id like to here what everyone else has to say. Is there anything that I may have missed that you think is important / like to do every day.

I try to socialize as much as possible, eat healthy and exercise. As well as do something productive like expanding my knowledge and helping others.

I do reiki self care every day, and I try to meditate every day as well. There are other things I kind of just end up doing every day without a conscious effort - most days I bike for an hour or so just to get around (no car), and I also spend time listening to music every day which is probably pretty important for my sanity. It would probably be a good idea to make an effort to socialize every day because I can be a bit of a hermit.

My new thing that I've started doing every day is writing down 5 things I'm thankful for that day in a 'grattitude journal' before I go to bed. Helps to keep a positive mindset, even if it's the worst day of your life there is still plenty to be grateful for.

Eat healthy, gym session or hot yoga, meditation or relaxation and a social life which i would like to focus on more after the shit storm at work is done.

Maya, how much success have had with meditation? Is it effective if done for 21+ days? Do you sleep better, feel better, and have less anxiety & stress in life?

I felt immediate relief after a day or two, but then again, this will depend on how much stress you have in your life. I still do have really bad days but it has improved since then.

This is so very true but can be a very hard thing to remember and implement into daily thinking. I like to be grateful for not only what i have in my life but what i dont have in my life. I dont have to deal with certain things that some other people have to deal with. Like my health is good right now, my family is safe and healthy, alcohol is not a part of my life right now, dont have warrants, dont have kids to worry about right now, dont have to be looking for work, dont have to worry about where my next meal is coming from, etc. So many of us are so blessed and just take it for granted till life hits us smack in the twat. Then we realize how good we do have it compared to some.
