Just thought I'd put this here.

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukdsi/2014/9780111118238

So frustrating. I saw the letters from the ACMD earlier in the year but I kind of naively hoped the home office wouldn't bother banning drugs that have almost no confirmed use incidents.

Most annoyed about ALD-52 as I have wanted to try it for a decade and it is frustrating to know it could have been sold legally within the UK all this time.

Oh well, I suppose when one door closes another opens.

Looking forward to the next round of legally available lysergamides!

Damn, that really sucks. The Man is always tryin' to bring a brotha down. But hey, prohibition doesn't work. Maybe by banning it, you'll finally get to try your ALD-52 :)

Yeah ald-52 has rarely been available and it has nothing to do with legality. It's notoriously unstable.

Yeah I think the best way to try ALD-52 would be to find a great chemist who can produce some for you to try immediately.

Then again the "orange sunshine" acid from the 60s was always said to be ALD-52. I suppose that could have been an urban legend, but it seems like it should be possible to make pills or whatever containing it that are coated in something that would preserve it.

Is there any way to know? The 60's were way before my time, and I'm not sure if ALD-52 would be bitter on blotter or not. Is it tasteless as well?

First of all it wasn't blotter, it was orange pills of some sort. Secondly, I doubt it would be bitter, all the lysergamides I know about are basically tasteless.

I don't think there is any point to ALD-52, it is apparently quite unstable and just degrades to LSD. Apart from that it is easy to make from LSD, not a super skilled chemist needed.
If ALD-52 were such an amazing compound, we should probably investigate N-acetyl tryptamines like N-acetyl-DMT or N-acetyl-psilocin (not to be confused with O-acetyl-psilocin i.e. 4-AcO-DMT). Again, same problems though, would have to be stabilized in some way.

Also if you ask me the above does not prove that ALD-52 is legal until very soon... it will be mentioned explicitly but to know if it implicitly fell under some analogue law anyway we'd have to check those laws again. Plus, there is the problem of there probably being a lot of LSD in ALD-52 samples as degradation product, just like it can be a concern with 4-AcO-DMT containing psilocin as hydrolysis product.

So... now illegal from around 10th September: ALLAD, ETHLAD, PROLAD, ALD-52, LSZ, AH-7921, AMT/AET, all benzene sub tryptamines, all alpha subbed tryptamines, and basically any other tryptamines.

Gutting to see AMT, ALLAD, LSZ go. Price drop coming to shift stock?

Bah.. hopefully distribution for these lysergemides will move to another locale where it's legal. It would be really sad if this was the last splash for these chemicals.

What would N-acetyl-DMT look like? (the molecule)

Like this:

I'm already seeing al-lad pulled or sold out at some vendor sites. Depressing.

WTH, as if the UK is the only place where compounds like that are very much liked. :(

Speaking of which, technically this is a UK law issue and not limited to psychedelics. So moving from PD to EADD.
I personally only 'outlaw' legality threads if they are about people with legal problems asking for help etc, in which we will not get mixed up. But knowing what is legal and what is not seems like some kind of pro HR thing imo.

Yeah, they really don't..

Oh FFS, I didn't think it would be so soon. :(

Then what of the other chemicals? MPA? MDAI? etc etc..

Not that I'm complaining.. Psych's aren't my ting ;)

Edit- Since when was mephedrone considered a psychedelic?

Since never. Where does my post suggest that it is? :?

I mentioned the meph panic because that's what sparked the crusade against 'legal highs' in general. I have no idea why the other shitty stims you listed haven't been banned, so you may have a point there, though I imagine popularity (or lack thereof) was a factor.

Didn't AL-LAD and LSZ both sell out almost immediately?
