Bloodshed in Gaza: "It's a hell of a pinpoint operation"

The very early versions were closed and left to fade off into the insignificance of whatever exists past the first few pages of the forum. Could be anywhere down there but may well have been long since culled cos old, closed threads get deleted en masse on a fairly regular basis so the site doesn't get completely clogged up. You're probably not missing anything much... Can't actually recall the name so can't even search for it for you. Was something about convents or confessionals or prayer something or other... dunno. Wasn't called Theology Thread anyway.

Here

I can't help but notice although raas did not create the thread, he was the first reply. =D

Created by the Creator himself that thread dontcha know. We had to ban him - always was a troublemaker that fella ;)

It was actually split off from other threads cos religious bickering kept popping up all over the place so we decided to give the idea of a theology thread one last chance after a number of previous attemps that had gone horribly, horribly wrong. Seemed fitting - kinda like the Noah's Ark of EADD threads.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...lligence-cooperation-with-israel-9647621.html

The document, dated 13 April 2013, describes the NSA’s “far-reaching technical and analytic relationship with the Israeli SIGINT National Unit (ISNU) sharing information on access, intercept, targeting, language, analysis and reporting”.

It says the co-operation has expanded to include other Israeli and US intelligence organisations including the CIA, American Special Operations Division and Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

Targets for both America and Israel are listed as “the countries of North Africa, the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, South Asia, and the Islamic republics of the former Soviet Union”.

your delusional which was part of my point in my post. Thats interesting. A soldier going on trial for murder in war.

I think you're talking to me.

I'm delusional because I'd want to see a soldier tried for murdering a child? or I'm delusional because I reckon a soldier could go on trial for murder in war?

To be fair, I never said it would happen. Simply that it should. But...

Sgt Alexander Blackman (Royal Marine must serve at least 10 years in jail for Taliban murder). It was a confirmed enemy combatant he was tried and convicted of murdering, whereas I was talking about murdering a child. Tell me again how delusional I am.

Heard of the Nuremberg Trials? The International Criminal Court?

Do you understand what a war crime is?
Jesus fucking Christ.

America never signed up to the ICC cos they know they wouldn't come out so well if they did so it's no great surpsise that portions of the American citizenry don't feel their country's military actions need to comply with international law or agreed minimal standards of at least trying to be humane towards non-combatants - or indeed actual combatants who are also human despite the ridiculous demonisation from "The Good Guys" (anybody else noticed how the US insists on using school playground terminology of 'Goodies' and 'Baddies' as if actually speaking to morons?).

Oh, they've still kept the 'Official Peacekeeper' powers, omly they've delegated the rubber stamping to the UN and enforcement of the Official Peacekeeping to Nato-crony-states, for the most part.

There is so much horror that goes on in war that none of you will ever know about. Your all just molded by what the media shows you but thats not the whole picture. Never said you have to accept it either. I think its odd that people are shocked at some of the things they hear about and if people really knew what really goes on in warfare their would be no support of it from anyone

You're talking as if we're all different. "none of us"... you are also molded by the media and unaware of stuff that goes on that you will never know about.

I have no support of war whatsoever, its bullshit. A lot of people i know shame the same opinion

You've shown your ignorance a couple times so don't try and act like we're all naive and you're the master.

I'm still waiting for you to explain why I'm delusional.
