In my case he's living in LA, bemoaning farming practices whilst millions starve and wearing leather boots because 'there's simply no alternative'. I still love him more than it's possible for a heteroseual man to do though.

Would they be boots of Spanish leather by any chance? Or have I got the wrong LA resident entirely?

Forgot he's living in LA. Then again, doesn't he have about a million properties throughout Europe too?

I remember that even at his career nadir (Maladjusted), he was listed in some Q Magazine 'richest British rock stars' feature. A lot of money made from property, apparently.

In a bizarre coincidence, that very same day, a van marked 'Morrissey Properties' passed me as I avoided doing any work on some building site just outside of Wigan.
