Best way to detoxify your body

After suffering the worst comedown I've had
in years from a speed and coke sesh the weekend I was wondering whats the best method to speed up recovery? I very rarely get bad comedowns but this one takes the piss lol

Sleep and food, balanced food, and lots of it, but specially go for proteiny food high in l-tyrosine to get your dopamine system back up to normal asap.

And while recovering a quick GHB binge to perk you up.
 
What examples of food do you mean? I'm taking protein shakes mixed with barely grass powder every morning and evening, had a full English yesterday and been eating regular, been drinking green tea as well but still feel shite. could probably do with more sleep tho but work and other things make that hard to fit in.

This ain't like comedowns I've had before where I just feel tired for a couple days I actually feel depressed with it which is rare for me I feel like I'm walking around in an emotionless daze. it's gotta be the coke cuz I do speed often and don't get like this and the coke was really strong stuff too. Just hope I recover in time for weekend when I go to festival where I'll be getting on it again. After that tho I'm having a long break.

Add fruit and veg, lots of bananas... & Google examples of "superfoods"... May help, may not
 
And when you do take a long break, take a proper break, for your own sake. A few weeks, a month - basically as long as you can.

You can cram all the superfoods, supplements and sleep in the world into a week's rest (a fortnight even), but when it comes down to it, time is the only real healer, as the cliché goes.
 
First drink of the day, water with lemon juice - then eat non processed food and drink plenty of water.


Should we have a bluelight detox week ?
 
Actually, that's a pretty good idea.. got a festival this weekend but from Monday I should probably have a couple of weeks off.
 
Haha it's tuesday man. You will be on the way back up tomorrow. "This time is different" you will have totally forgotten about it by the weekend. Eat well, keep hydrated and get enough sleep.

actually its Wednesday but thanks ;) and yeah without a doubt when I say I'm having a break I mean a proper break and I'll be getting my fitness back up too been caning it too often for too long now and things need to change.

I'll take a look at those links in a bit scotsman cheers.
 
I'm travelling tomorrow :D (cant detox on holiday, that's a law) - would be good if we could get a detox plan sorted though. I'll start sometime in August :D
 
I went through a phase of cayenne pepper in that drink for breakfast - makes you feel really good (if you don't like spicy food its a bit much)

Haha :D i thought it was thursday yesterday as well. My head is obviously up my arse.
 
Water, water, water. As an oversimplified rule of thumb i reckon that if my piss is clear and not stinking to high heaven then a lot of toxins have been flushed out. Obviously the dark concentarted stinky piss following a stim session, is always there as a grim reminder to start seriously attempting to flush all those visible toxins out. Also wholegrain rice. Porrige (actually absrobs harmul stuff from your guts). Fruit and veg. Sleep. Exercise. Expensive 'detox' concoctions may have their place, but ive never bothered.

=D They are different flavors. Heavy cocaine use especially when smoked or shot, will leave you a hollow suicidal mess. Amp (non-meth) has a longer period of emptiness and lethargy but it's not as crushing IME.
 
id add physical excersize to this regime of detox.

breaking a sweat can do wonders for both body and spirit/mood. Just dont push yourself too hard and remember to stay hydrated.

swimming or light aerobics might be goo. also cycling in the sun, or running through some natural setting... and how about some yoga if you ahve the inclination / flexibility for it?
