Bluelight post used as evidence

Reading this on the daily mail site and halfway down there's a bluelight screen shot of a post he made in drugs in the media. Been taken down now but appears that the 5-0 used it as evidence against him. Wonder if all the other charges came from bluelight posts he made at the time? He got an 8 stretch.

Dreadlocked Alderton - whose mother forced him to shave his hair off for the court case - had denied supplying the class A drug that killed Miss Boxall.

However, in an extraordinary blog post on the eve of the trial, Alderton said he was 'lucky' not to have been charged with manslaughter.

Alderton added: 'I have never been to jail before, but I'm thinking I will be ok. Might write a book about the whole thing...Been a pretty intense life so far.'

Alderton, of Harwood Road, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, was found guilty of supplying the class A drug that killed Miss Boxall.

He had already admitted five other drugs-related offences, including supplying class A drug ecstasy three days before Miss Boxall's death, two counts of supplying class B drugs diazepam and cannabis in June, 2013, and two counts of supplying Class C drugs subutex and tamazepam in November 2012 and January 2013.

When I was sixteen I used to think the 24 yr olds fucking my female classmates were so cool.

Right, I had to read the article properly before giving my two cents...

It doesn't say anywhere in that article that the BL post was actually used as evidence. It only says it was "an extraordinary blog post on the eve of the trial". If it was, I think you'll find that it might have been used as circumstantial evidence of his character & past dealings with Miss Boxall. It was just something for the jury to consider. I might have been able to get a hold of the case report if I was still at Uni... but alas, I'm not.

It really was blatant self-incrimination though... I don't think people have to worry about their posts being used against them on the whole but it does teach us a lesson.

They do however talk of text messages.

In her sentencing remarks, Judge Angela Morris said: 'The text messages suggest she was trying to rid herself of the addiction to drugs by going cold turkey.

'There was no guarantee she would have succeeded - however, you did nothing to help that. In fact, you put drugs in her way.

'Your actions were simply improper, calculated and destructive because you knew only too well the danger Georgina Boxall was in by agreeing to the morphine use.'

I'm waiting for my trial in court because they are trying to pin it all on me basically. Bad times!

Honestly a bit surprised the mods allow pictures showing more than personal amounts of drugs.
 
what you got against white boy dreads and mohawks Sammy? My girlfriend sometimes has synthetic dreads. She seems to switch from being a bit of a dreaded crusty punk girl to being a blonde, girly girl in topshop shit, to being a blonde, bit slutty club girl. Odd person. Her music taste is really varied too, one minute we'll be listening to Dead Kennedy's, The Exploited and Choking Victim, next some throwaway pop crap like Rihanna. I enjoy the variety though, haha.

And her ex used to have a mohawk and is now a homeless alcoholic. Pretty sure neither of them like The Atari's though.

Mohawks, however, look shite on both men and women. I've never actually met a person with a mohawk whom I've not wanted to slap.

I think a lot of girls seem to alternate between styles like that these days, hex. At least you won't get bored easily. ;)
