Guys my doc as I live in Bangkok is cool prescribing ritalin and 2 benzos, I've cycled thru a few.

vallies 5mg [10mg not available my hospital] , xanax 1mg , loraz 1mg and recently learnt from here is clonazepam.

Vallies are nice but like a pack of sweets to me and I chew thru them.

Xanax did not impress me at all at 1mg

I'm impressed by the clona but I don't 'feel' them and they dome up so slow but with there halflife they are worth the money.

What 2nd benzo would you add to the clonazepam, I think something fast acting would be ideal, she has temazies which I've never tried so shall I try those or go back to the loraz as I do like loraz at 2/3mg.

I take about 6mg klona everyday.

Also....

I'm a daily [addicted] user of tramadol also and take mirtazapine and beta blockers.

I poteniate with hydroyxine and gabapentin.

So I chase a 'smooth' upper feeling all day ,no chill out period ,I need tobe doing something.

My favorite benzodiazepine drug is probably clonazepam (aka Klonopin/Rivotril). It's the only drug I've ever done a full 180 switch in opinion on...had a terrible experience with it the first time I used it, now I love it. Really works magic, wonderful drug. IN MY OPINION it's hard to abuse, too, although of course there is some addictive potential there, etc. I was hung up on lorazepam for a while too but I don't take that anymore.

I've always found Temazepam to be rather boring in terms of rec value, a good sedative though. IMO since you already have clonazepam you should go for alprazolam again and try upping the dosage as it really is among the best benzos available, or really one of the best pharms out there. Also, addicted to Tramadol? I used to have tons of them and could barely even get high off them, let alone a nod or anything.

Temazepam is the strongest among those you mention above and has by far the quickest onset. Very quick-acting and short half-life which is a good thing: no hangover in the morning, unlike clonazepam. Unfortunately it is those same qualities that make temazepam so addictive. You will definetely be "feeling" the effects of the drug 10-20 minutes after taking it.

Warning: Temazepam is a hypnotic not a tranquilizer. This means it is significantly stronger than the other tranquilizers you mention above. So be cautious and never attempt to drive, operate machinery, swim, fly a plane (it happens!), fight a war, or engage in anything that requires full attention because this drug has a propensity for putting one to sleep with no warning of any sort, I should know. Mixing this with alcohol is a suicidal idea, this is not Valium.

I take about 6mg klona everyday.

From own experience with both clonazepam and temazepam I found that 2mg clonazepam is roughly the equivalent of 15mg temazepam.... sort of. It's difficult to compare quick-acting drugs such as temazepam to intermediate-acting ones such as clonazepam because the sujective experience varies wildly from one individual to the next. Personally I take 45mg temazepam all at once because otherwise I can't sleep. It's a large dose but been on it on and off for decades. It still procures me some 3 to 4 hours of sleep which is much better than before.

Since you want twoo suggestions he is my second choice for ya: bromazepam. It combines quick-onset and intermediate-acting which is unusual, at least to me. From what I could tell its potency is somewhere between that of diazepam (Valium) and temazepam (Restoril) but still closer to the aforementioned diazepam. The whole tablet melts in the mouth within a few seconds, may explain the quick-onset I guess. I used to slip it Under my tongue where it completely dissolved in less than a minute, followed by onset 10 to 20 minutes afterwards.

Hope this helps.

I've always found Temazepam to be rather boring in terms of rec value, a good sedative though.

It is a damn good hypnotic/sedative above 30mg but still has recreational value to some people who use it as the downer ingredient in a speedball. It also very useful in taking the edge off stim trips. On itself it only has rec value for individuals who have strong benzo tolerance and are able to fight off the hypnotic effects of temazepam and just enjoy the typical benzo buzz

OP What is your question, is it "what 2 benzos should i choose?" Do you mean 2 benzos for therapeutic use to sleep and for anxiety, or do you mean for recreational value?

(if i were to choose a hypnotic and an anxiolytic....)

For recreation i would go for flunitrazepam and valium

For therapeutic use i would recommend Loprazolam and oxazepam

Great answers guys thanks.

I don't know if it's the long onset/half-life but klona is just not feeling me but even more oddly and annoyingly nor is xanax unless I Pop 2 or 3.

Temazzies I guess are on the wish list as I've never tried and I can ask for them for sleep purposes however my doc was at pains to prescribe xanax for it quick onset creating addiction probs.

I've got to the stage I loathe to 'waste' benzos for sleep but my anti-d remeron does nothing because of the long hlaflife of the trammy even if I over -do the beta-blockers.

But by night I'm ready for sleep anyhow.

Even though lorazepam usually gets a bad rap I do really like the stuff same as vallie but at a high dose, Ifind the short half life of loraz a bonus sometimes.

I guess all being said though I should hang on the clona for insurance.

At Bluelight we discourage this type of thread asking which pills you should take. Everyone has their own opinions on what their favorite benzos are. You are also on several other medications and this can get tricky. So ultimately this decision should be between you and your doctor. You can pm me if you have any questions or concerns. Best wishes.
