had a 1mg Pyrazolam at about 4:30 am last night after my night shift to help me wind down. Had my heart set on an LSD trip today though, 370ugs. Would the half life of Pyraz affect the trip too much? I was thinking of dropping at about 2:30.

Benzos don't stop you tripping. They just take the edges off at most.

I wouldn't think 1mg of pyrazolam would affect your trip that much even if you took them together, let alone ten hours apart. Definitely not if you're taking that kind of dose.

yeah, I know I shouldn't trip so so often but I'm in a particularly good place right now, feeling like a big dose.

After that i'll leave it for a bit, can't really with work and stuff now.

370ugs is a relatively big dose.

and considering I only took it about 15 minutes ago and I'm already beginning to feel it, I think I'm in for a hell of a ride.

It shouldn't affect your trip, i used to take pyraz daily and still enjoyed tripping just as much as i did when I wasn't on it. happy tripping :)

^^
how did you find stopping the pyraz, is it interchangable with other benzos, particularly thieno thingies like etiz? I wouldnt want to become addicted to 2 different classes of benzos. 8(

I was on etiz for around 4 months daily at around 1mg (sometimes far more for recreation) then switched to pyrazolam pretty pain free and it worked great for the anxiolytic effects with less monginess than etiz. I did this so I could slowly get used to not feeling sedated everyday and to gradually stop craving the mongy comfort of etiz.

Was on pyraz for about 3 months but towards the end of the taper i think i was just dragging it out and prolonging the WD because it has such a short half life. I would take my morning dose and by lunchtime i would feel anxiety creeping in so I decided to just stop altogether rather than drag it out any longer. For around 3 weeks I experienced anxiety issues slightly above what is normal for me and had some trouble sleeping but nothing that valerian / promethazine / ganja didn't sort out!

Not saying this would work for everyone but I think it could be worth a go if you want to switch to a less sedating benzo to reintegrate yourself into "normal" society so to speak. Although they are less sedating they still carry the "saywhateverthefucksonyourmind" sort of effect so watch out for that and good luck.

feeling pretty groggy after 2mg etiz and 4mg pyraz last night after an LSD trip, will the grogginess fade before my night shift today? (I work from 12-4)

Thanks both for the replies. That is re-assuring to learn that its not possible to develop addictions to 2 different benzos. I've allready ordered 100mg of pyrazolam powder, it's so much cheaper than the pills, which were working out damned expensive. i will mix it with PG and inject 0.5 to 1 mg into my possibly seperate drinking water bottles for the day.

It is also reassuring to read that valerian / promethazine can help with benzo tapers and w/ds. I can't touch the green without benzos, i get anxiety/paranoia attacks so i wont be going anywhere near that. I could also use diphenhydramine for a while to help with sleep, and the occasional pregabalin to relax. I have noticed the "saywhateverthefucksonyourmind" thing, fortunately so far this has only had one bad consequence, i think that i just need to remind myself to stop and think for a moment about what im going to say.

At the moment work is pretty stressfull, as there is so much to learn, and so many new people to get to know, but once i know what im doing and feel more settled i wont be as stressed and will be cutting out the daytime pyrazolams, and can then get cracking on reducing my etiz bedtime dose.

I think the powder is water soluble but I think PG would preserve it better anyway. The pellets are cheap as it is (£25 for 100) and that without the discounts so the powder must be extremely cheap! Im similar in regards to weed and anxiety sometimes but when in benzo WD it was an evening thing to keep me occupied, there was no way I could smoke in the morning and go face the day back then but now I can get away with it more often.

I know how you feel with the work thing. Near the end of my taper I had to give a presentation and decided not to up my dose for it just to prove to myself I could stick out the taper. I was a nervous wreck but got good feedback regardless. On looking back I'm glad I didn't dose higher for it because everyone gets anxious in certain scenarios for a reason and we learn and develop with each experience even be it a negative one.

hexagram - It should mostly fade but try taking a nap and having a coffee before/in work. Pyraz would most likely be away as it has no metabolites but etiz could still linger a bit longer I think.

I think we must be using a different vendor by the sounds of things, i think the vendor i use is more expensive than some others, but you hear bad tales about some of the others, and this one has never let me down.

I know what you mean about "everyone gets anxious in certain scenarios for a reason and we learn and develop with each experience even be it a negative one." But for me the anxiety can be so impairing that it occupies all of my mind and doesnt give me the chance to focus on what is really important. I do need and want to start learning and dealing with this without benzos during the day asap, but these pyraz are going to be very helpfull for the next few weeks, tbh i think i would be stressed beyound breaking point otherwise atm, which may sound a bit mellodramatic, but i really dont like that state of confusion and uncertainty about things that you have to go through when acquiring new work related knowledge, plus having to deal with rebound now at the same time. Nope. I think i'll book a week off in a couple of months and cut out the daytime pyraz and get the rebounds over and done with then, there may not even be any as im sure that the dose of etiz from the night before is still in my bloodstream too.

not sure about duel addictions to benzos you have the 'pams and the 'lams - not a chemist so dont know but suspect that the make up of these benzos is different, google will no doubt help - ask about the history of bread while your at it

Nope, you'll find they all act on GABA A receptors, regardless of whether their names finish in 'pam', 'lam' or 'ramalamadingdong'.

There are other mechanisms of action which will vary from benzo to benzo, but they're far less important than the GABA A action.

I heard cigarettes help metabolize benzos, smoked a few and had a coffee and feel a lot better. I'm thinking one more coffee and a few cigarettes before my shift and i'll be right as rain.
