Does anyone from Boston get a ride to the methadone clinic under their insurance provider? I have neighborhood health plan, does anyone else? I have one of the top plans so not sure if that helps or not.

Let me know guys.

How did your first day at the clinic go BBT? or did you go yet? I really think that MMT will work out great for you as long as you can get a ride there daily. I am not going to lie it is very difficult to withdraw from but if you haven't been able to stay sober anyways than it well definitely allow you to live a normal life and you won't have to wake up sick for as long as you want. I truly wish you the best with your cases and finding peace my brother. I hope all works out for the best.

tomorrow my first day; I will update you then. hoping to start at a minimum of 30MG like I hear from others. my last shot f dope was earlier tonight around 930PM; TRYING NOT to touch anything again until after I get my done dosage since they say they want me into withdrawal, which I wont be but I can pretend to be.

I don't remember if they told me to be in withdrawal or not. The day of my appointment I was sick as heck but the doctor didn't show up so they couldn't dose me. That was a very bad day to say the least. But the day I did my intake I just faked it because I still had a gram or so of dope. I just used enough to take most of the sick away the morning I did the intake.

exactly what i just did; I am going there to get dosed today but just shot around .2 or .3. that is really nothing and even as I sit here and type I feel miserable.

Wouldn't it be more helpful to just call your insurance and ask if they'll provide a ride. My guess is they're not going to.

I need to call my insurance company to see if they cover my 'done. I'm just afraid they will make it mandatory I attend counseling every week. I'm in this long term I don't feel I need counseling every week. It's pretty easy for me to stay clean when I'm on maintinece drugs. It's when I taper down and try abstinence is when I go back to using.

they WILL cover my done; they WILL NOT cover the ride to the clinic; however, some people there and that I know said their company covers their RIDE to the clinic, imagine? if you have straight MASS HEALTH (which is free and for broke peeps) they cover it.

this isnt a recent article but just an article. this is actually still happening and happening right here AROUND the Boston area. got my 2nd DUI so getting a ride is not exactly easy right now gut I WANT TO CONTINUALLY GO AND GO TILL THIS ALL ENDS!

Wait, your insurance company will pay for a ride to the clinic?
Medicaid pays because many poverty stricken people don't have cars or can afford bus fare. They provided transport to my son when he was in the court ordered rehab high school. I've used it once since getting on Medicaid for a doctor appointment.

see.. THIS RIGHT HERE and I am HOPING I am one of these people although I do make OK money but I DO NOT have a car or a license to even drive one. hopefully they come through for me and I am able to get a ride to and from the clinic when my friend is not around. I also hope I am able to get the take home dosage prettu quickly.

^ takehomes are based on clean drug screens and a few other things. But clean urine is number one

wow I wonder if I show proof from my dude maybe my insurance can give me a ride to grab

I've heard of MassHealth giving a ride to people around here and I remember Fox news making a huge deal out of it of course. The clinic that's only a couple miles from my house doesn't take any insurance except mass health so it would have cost me crazy money for the intake and another 125$ per week after that.
