The Solstice has been an' gone!

Presume Evey meands the nights are now drawing in, ie darkness increasing

@fubar - we didn't go either (vehicle issue), daughter was pretty gutted tho and has made me promise to take her next year (or for an eqinox perhaps)

My 'army' insistence ealier in thread was oddly enough borne out on 'The Culture Show' yesterday on telly, iplayer link if anyone interested

Strange, as that's the first time I've heard anyone mention the army involvement in the media, and on the very day I had mentioned it a few hours before.

There's somebody I know irl interviewed on this programme too, and if the camera had panned another 100 yards down the line of stopped vehicles at one point in the programme our old beautiful Routemaster would have been captured on film also (belated thanks to the filth for smashing all but one of the ground floor windows :X)

course the army were involved - its on salisbury plain one of the biggest training areas in the country for them with a huge camp about 5-6 miles away cant remember the name begins with B.
We went a few times bitd but fortunately missed the battle.

Was at a free party on Salisbury plains, all of a sudden personal carriers came infront of the rig, soldiers got out with clipboards, asked them what they was doing and just said they was on operation and let us carry on dancing. fucking bizzare when you're spangled.
