hi as the title suggests i'm wondering what the ingredients are in ampoules of most injectable benzos that aren't water soluble? Do they dissolve the benzo in propylene glycol still and that is what the majority of the liquid is? Im wondering because i just ordered everything to make a peg mixture of flubromazepam and was curious if food safe peg would be safe to do either IV or IM injections with, preferably IM.

i know a guy works in a medical unit and he told me that when the patients start freaking out they hold em down and stick a diazepam up their ass lol. supposedly THAT is the most effective way to take diazepam lol. And tbh id rather stick something up my ass than tick a needle in my arm lol. And iv never felt the need to do either lol. just chew em up and have a cup of tea. but i dont even fuck with benzos anymore lol they are addictive.

its out of curiosity purely, im not intending on doing it. While i am an IV drug user when it comes to opiates there is very little point with benzos so i dont. I was just interested in what they make injectabl;e forms from because i know they arnt water soluble and thought the idea of injecting proplene glycol highly surprising as i thought anti freeze had prolene glycol in and it dont sound like a good idea

fair enuf, each to their own. but inject antifreeze???? fuck that id stick to the food grade glycol lol

im sure antifreeze has alot more bad shit in it too than the food grade propylene glycol... cos im pretty sure antifreeze is definitely not food grade lol.

Sorry but thats some well for lack of better words, BS info. No Medic would be have the time nor be able to stick something up a patients ass, while they are freaking out have a psychotic break or what have you. IV benzos/ IM sedatives is what is used to sedate a "raged" patient.

Exactly. And in any case, rectal benzodiazepines have a slower onset than oral, making it completely pointless.

Your friend in the 'medical unit' meant they stick them IN the ass (as in IM injection), not UP the ass! LMAO Can you imagine holding a psychotic person down and preparing their anus for plugging valium? Hahah.

diazepam is usually dissolved in propylene glycol and ethanol, but it's more because often people don't have access to midazolam which is water soluble.

there is no benefit to IV diazepam over a slightly faster onset. in fact IV injections of propylene glycol and ethanol can be quite painful.

Thas what I figured. So it is safe to do both IM and IV injections of substances dissolved in food grade PG then. Would vodka be ok to add a tiny amount of to the mixture instead of ever clear as I'm in the UK and I don't think it's possible to get that there.

I always want to shoot everything and it just doesn't seem like benzos are worth it. They have a decent oral ba though? I think it's Ativan that they like to iv in hospitals so maybe look into that? That's a nice rush but Valium has such a great lasting high. I've never done it, but maybe if you really want something instant you should shove it up your ass.

Diazepam is soluble in water. I have got a water-alcohol diazepam solution 2 mg./ml. to take in drops

That doesn't make it water soluble. As you just said, it contained alcohol. And 2mg/ml isn't enough to be useful for injection.

And as has already been stated, the only benefit is a faster onset(instant, actually) but nothing else. Diazepam BA is literally 90%, and it already has a fast onset(30-45min)

On the subject of Diazepam , twice in the last two months ive taking 1st 50mg and today 60mg and all it does is make me sleep, worthless, at least for me as a rec drug. I just get very tired, zero euphoria. I'm done with this drug period.

that's what you do when a dog is fitting too.

It's an emulsion ethanol & propylene glycol are the excipients. I once had a serious grand mal and got hit with 20mg of this stuff (won't bore with story but 'life' meant I didn't sleep for over 280 hours). It's just WIPEOUT. I guess a few people have had propofol - well, it feels like that. Count to 5. Work up 6 hours later. From my experience, I say no to iv BENZOS!

Diazepam isn't soluble in plain water to any appreciable amount. It needs either glycol, alcohol, glycerin, or some sort of emulsion agent to get it dissolved. Put it like this: You can't, and shouldn't take a Valium pill and dissolve it in water and bang it.

IV Valium is pretty much the department of emergency medicine only. Recreational users: don't even bother, unless you want to destroy your veins or get septicemia.

just thought id clarify this lol, wat I said is not bullshit, this person works with people who have severe brain injurys and this is their protocol when they have to calm them down and they wont take the tablets. anyway he would have no reason to lie about having to do that lol its hardly a nice thing to do.

edit- plus I dont think he is legaly allowed to stick needles in people as he isnt a doctor or a nurse.

again , y would u make that up?? im actually going to quiz him sum more about this next time im talking to him haha
