Morning EADD :D

As many of you know I'm working from home at the moment, meaning I'm using a remote network access thing to get into my works network and my account etc. Our is a pretty ropey old system currently due to be replace as part of the Win 7 project, but without going into detail its a pain in the arse to log into and logs you out if it doesn't see a key press or mouse move after 5 mins.

I can't load any software to my local machine or any of the machines involved in providing the remote desktop access, in truth I probably could but it's a big no no and not worth the hassle.

Its rare I'm truly proud of a solution I've come up with even though my work is largely about providing complex technical solutions to hideously complex and tedious problems.

After much thought and the start of an idea from an on-line suggestion I came up with a solution I feel a can be rightly proud of, that fucker don't time out on me anymore:D

I've recently started reading this little used forum Science-and-Technology seems odd it gets so few posts given the number of techno folk we have about the place.
 
Spending today watching I'm Alan Partridge now. Hungover from all the shit football so hoping the eph will cling on a bit more before I crash. Mad fucking night aside from the footie.

Getting a bit pissed off about the spider that lives in the hole between my fire and hearth. Usually it hides or sits a bit outside. Now it's on the carpet. Thought it was a wee bit of baccy cos ain't got me glasses on but I just looked again and it's moved. And I don't know where. And before anyone starts on the 'fuck off they're only spiders' look at this video and tell me they're not wrong as fuck. That's fucking baby spiders crawling all over it an all. Not right.

You got a phone call from THE Brimz?? Christ, you could have mentioned it! Thats big big news. If i had gotten a phone call from him, i would have mentioned it in literally every single post i made on the day i was expecting the phone call; in the hope that my BL status would have gone up ten-fold.

How am i doing/. Hmmmm, not the best tbh. Well short-term im doing good, cos of the heroin on MXE, but long-term i just lost my job, so not so great. Have been doing heroin once ever 1/2/3 weeks now for 3 years, but am tempted to just buy 7gs and go on a binge as im a bit lost atm. I dont really wanna bring the thread down with my woes though haha - afterall its nearly summer :D I just want a foot jacuzzi and melt away atm haha. Thanks for asking :)

What is it they say about occasional heroin use? It's all fine until something else in your life goes tits up and heroin becomes a crutch? Don't go for a massive skag binge, you might never come back.

Yeah i know, its exactly that. The worrying thing is, im in the kind of mind-frame where i dont care if i get addicted. My thinking is, just have a couple weeks of using 24/7, then get a shed load of ket/MXE for the 5 day withdrawls as they almost completely eliminate them and hope by then ive managed to get a job as being a postie. I know this is absurd thinking, but im sure other people have been at that stage with that "dont give a fuck" mind state. Im gonna try my best not succumb to it as ive managed 3 years without any splip ups. Its going to be a very testing week thats for sure.
