Just read that Robin Williams used to be an alki and cocaine addict, check him out here, dunno if he actually was off his tits here but seems wired off his bollocks haha

Just thought he was naturally hyper or something, like lee evans or whatever lol

Just watching some Robin Williams stand up, dropping bombs every 10 seconds man. UK comedians are so far behind America these days, panel shows are to blame.

Agreed, much prefer american comedy... Bill Burr, stanhope, louis CK, bill hicks, carlin, conan is a funny fucker on his talkshow as well

UK comedians i like frankie boyle... cant even think of any others i properly like off the top of my head. love that satire stuff

Yeah I can see why people would find that sort of thing very annoying tbh, it's idiotic and intense and grating but if you are a retard with a simple mind like me then it's funny.=D

I don't mind Robin Williams. Lee Evans on the other hand, I'd happily watch him die in a fire.

Stanhope and Louis are good. Bill Hicks and George Carlin have been dead for a while lol.

There's not much in the way of good UK comedians at the moment. Call it the Michael McIntyre effect. There probably are shitloads of great UK comics out there, none that you'll see on your telly though because the general public are still lapping up that Michael McIntyre, Peter Kay unfunny shite.

Still good comedy. altho i think of them more as philosophers than being funny, but still

Not a big fan of Michael McIntyre , peter kay, Johnny Vegas, john bishop, jimmy carr,

Wow. Never thought I'd have a scrap of admiration for him, but fair play.

Obviously it comes from a personal dislike of debt collectors rather than a moral standpoint, but to turn down a £28K fee is really something, whichever way you look at it. That's a pretty fucking hefty fee for a comedian at a private do.

Robin William is comedy. I assume he wasn't high during the filming of Good Morning Vietnam, so he can be like that somewhat without being on coke. ;)

Bill Bailey! Rob Brydon has his moments. Mitch Benn (The Now Show on BBC Radio 4 is comedy)

I like a few others too but most the 'big names' I don't like.

Nobody actually commenting on real issues…making you think or question your perspective.

As much as I like comedians like Hicks or Carlin frankly I couldn't give two fucks about having my perspective challenged or being made to think. Just make me laugh.

Many people hate him but i think stewart lee is a god of comedy.

Then there's chris morris, noel fielding, julian barret, (not so much stand ups though), and ross noble, lee mack, tim vine, milton jones (loads really)
