Don't know what I'm supposed to do here. If you take away the posts with senseless childlike bickering in, you get accused to over censorship. If you leave them in then the mods aren't doing their job properly.

Perhaps if the forum members actually made conversation about interesting, relevant topics, rather than constantly dragging up who supposedly said what about who God knows how many months ago, then it wouldn't feel like the forum was being so badly moderated.

As it stands it's hardly surprising none of us want to post here much at the moment.
 
Afternoon folks.

Actually seems like Summer today! Went out for a 16 mile cycle this morning, which was good...

I saw a Cocker Spaniel chase down a baby crow & catch it... I'm surprised the adult crows didn't do anything, Cockers ain't that big, but I suppose since I was cycling past & other folks were not far away, they probably wouldn't risk it.

Used to having baby crows in my parent's garden... would have done something if I could but there was no point. :\

I actually agree with you. I just like to see mods around the place tis all. Merging stuff n that.
 
This Ronnie O'Sulliven book is interesting. It's called running and he talks about the high from running. I remember that when I did INSANITY every day. He talks about how his fitness has helped his snooker because it's given him an healthy mind. He wrote another book about his addiction to drugs etc but this is the second book. Got it from the App Store, which in my opinion is rubbish because it doesn't have nearly enough books. I mean it doesn't even have Anthony Kiedis - Scare Tissue, good job I had bought the actually book back in 2005.

As a rule of thumb, always do the exact opposite of what the more vocal posters want you to do, and the chances are you're doing the right thing. ;)

Josh, don't worry about it. You're good mods.
You're never going to be able to please people, all of the time. Took me a long time to learn that lesson in real life, but seriously, you're not.
You do the best you can and that's all that matters end of the day.
If there's too many mods people will moan it's too controlling n *Nazi like,* if there's not enough mods, people will moan nothing gets done about behaviour or whatever, like you say with removing/ not removing posts.
All you can do is your best which you are doing.

Yeah I'm not too bothered about deliberate double posts, unless someone has just developed verbal diarrhoea or is blatantly on a post count embellishing mission, I tend to leave it.

Obviously I am perfectly happy to swap pics for certain 'privleges' such as arbitrary bans on certain members at my whim.

RJ i understand your frustration 100% - if you delete a post your deemed 'the man'. This discussion has sort of climaxed again (same old shit) - leave the posts, The lovely 'snolls' has added a few guidelines, let us all hope that people listen and either chill out or move to PM.
