Anyway I agree that there is nothing particularly worthwhile in cluttering up threads multiposting videos of boring mainstream popmusic (particularly if they are just a photo of the album cover for 3.5 minutes), but I just groan and ignore it, if it happens, and if need be a mod can educate newer users and point them to the embeds forum.

I'm happy with a text hyperlink to a youtube video of a song I wouldn't listen to. What saddens me though, is not seeing a bit of colour and life in this thread, something which the forum has been woefully lacking in the past year and a half. Interpret that as you willl. I'm done with my 'just got out of bed get the fuck out of my pathway' retort so I'm off to earn my living, and don't worry, I'll not be posting very often and gettting in your way as has been the norm for me for a good while.

The forum has gone to shit.

The fact that Ceres has now posted a comment I made about my eating disorders being complicated by "...extreme malignant narcissicsm." on two separate occasions, completely out of context, says it all about how far he's prepared to go just to have a little dig. As do the previous comments, whether typed in big bold red letters or otherwise.

Why let facts get in the way of such pettiness, eh?

For my part, I could go on about how he creeps me out a little and I can't read a single one of his posts without involuntarily imagining Chunk from The Goonies, but I choose not to. I will, however, comment on inappropriate embeds if the subject arises. As do other people.

Hopefully he'll extend me the same kind of courtesy, and you'll all be spared this boring shite.

Fuck... just heard from a friend she got some stuff off an rc vendor, the same one i use (which has recently sent me the wrong stuff)... and it wasnt the right stuff, apparently ended up blacking out talking shit and nearly ended up in hossy.. feels terrible today.. be careful peoples

I had a feeling you were gonna say you were drunk last night haha... you cant handle it sonny.. and one of the most dangerous drugs in society and you go around ripping others, what a ballsack. MDMA destroys ya brainz and DMT is the devil mmmkay. dunno how people cant handle their booze, i know quite a few people that end up weird from booze, or turning into a dick, or getting all emotional... never had an issue with any of that thank fuck

Yeah, it's an awful drug.

I'm not excusing anything however - nothing wrong with the occasional port-induced bluelight marathon posting. Some of the posts are a bit narky I admit, going back deleting many of them now.
 
Could be, shes gonna send it off to be tested. very sloppy and reckless of the vendor, dunno how much she did, dunno what the dosing is on that but thank fuck she didnt end up in hossy or worse. am gonna be alot more careful now, they used to be spot on but if theyre sending out the wrong shit all the time im fucked if im ending up in a state from that horrible wonky weird-ness. saying that theyre bound to make mistakes but still

You quoted Snolly, and edited your post to correct where the video was, and either never noticed that it wasn't a music video or never noticed that in Snolly's post she says that it's only music videos that are banned.

So Ceres flagrantly breaks the rules by posting a shit hip-hop embed, then cries like a baby when he's called out on it. If you find the forum boring, post something interesting, or start a discussion. Don't just spam music videos that nobody will ever bother to watch.

Bingo. Wasn't a music vid. The only reason music vids got consigned to the music embed thread was because some people were spamming them and some were on autoplay which is massively grating especially if you're on a mobile connection. Anything else is fine if it encourages discussion and isn't just spammed everywhere. The amount of music embeds we were getting in the thread not specifically for it was interrupting the flow of discussion. Post documentaries, trailers, whatever, but endless amounts of songs and lyrics got bad enough we made the rule and will be enforcing it with warnings after having allowed people a period of a week or two to get used to it/read the thread.

Embedded music videos go in the embed thread. I'll sticky it if it's needed. Stuff doesn't need to be in gibberings to bring colour to the place. In my experience - and I emphasise 'my' - people find the music embeds annoying in the main chat thread and elsewhere. Honestly I don't even know why we have music embeds as a link with an artist and title does the same job but hey ho.
