EADD Benzo Discussion V. I forget

Having a history of recklessness means that being careful went out of the window for you permanently?

Seems hypocritical to be complaining about "where's the HR" then, like you were doing just yesterday (#1036).

I've been trying since post #1028 anyhow. You might be more successful; who knows? :)

Aaand it looks like we're back at post #1028.

English is not my first language and I may be misinterpreting "it went out of the window". Can something even go out of a window temporarily, or is it always a permanent thing by definition?

Sorry what hypocrisy?

You couldn't explain that if you tried. Harm Reduction is about the spread of information that reduces the harm to drug users, it's got nothing to do with an individuals actions (unless they directly put the medium of information transfer at risk). Anyway, I'd rather not argue now.

Go on, point it out.

I'm not exactly in the mood for arguine right now because I've just found out my friend's in a coma on an ICU ward, but hit me with it.

Owen, if you can't spot it now then there's no point in me sucking all the humour out of it by trying to explain. :)

And I'm not in any mood for arguing either as it happens. Especially when it's not very productive or rewarding.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Which of the current uncontrolled benzos is good for anxiety, but not too drowsy causing?

I cant remember whether its pyrazolam or diclazepam, or is it something else alltogether? I dont want to get into the habit of taking benzos at work, but i might pop some low doses occasionally just whilst i get to know all the new people, i can feel quite awkward and uncomfortable meeting lots of new people, especially managemnt type people, i took half an etiz one day last week, and almost fell asleep so thats not really a viable option at all if i want to keep the job, which atm i certainly do.

Pryazolam. very functional but weak

i gather that the 'proper' prescription benzos are much better, but in the absence of a source for those, then out of the RC benzos like pyraz and diclaz which ones might help? I have tried both when they first came out, only bought one batch, and they were shit recreationally, but thats not what im after atm. Just looking for some functional anxiolysis to help me come out of my shell and establish good relationships with all these new people. I could do things the hard way, but if there's a chemical short cut that could help then I'll possibly try it. As i cannot remember anything about pyraz or diclaz other than thinking they were shit, does anyone know which might be better. ColtDan if you read this, i remember you talking about this iirc?

edit: you beat me to it. Cheers. I'll probably order just ten pills and give them another go. Is it completely non drowsy, or just relatively non drowsy?

They're all shit.

No, you're wrong.
They're all shit if you misuse them to the level you clearly have.

If you use them sparingly and don't develop a tolerance, they're very effective.

Haven't tried them, but reading on here, that seems to be good advice - again, just don't take them more than a couple of times a week MDB.. just the fact of knowing you have them in your wallet / bag can be enough to keep anxiety at bay sometimes..

p.s. congrats on the job - hope it goes well for you

Completely none if i recall. theyre like beer compared to vodka or something, as an example of comparing them with etiz. the downfall is with your benzo tolerance you'll be lucky if 10 will touch you, but its worth a try anyway. i found them even better than diaz as a functional benzo, although not that i really need them to function anyway, they have all the anti anxiety stuff and none of the drowsy. my benzo tolerance is low though so they work alright on me, dunno if you'll feel them. if i recall diclazepam is as drowsy as etiz

Cheers both. TES im allready addicted to etiz anyway, so just adding another mg of something else now and then for a while, if it helps, isnt gonna make much difference, but it might make these first few weeks easier, when it doesnt have to be such hard work for 'normal' people. I dont need them to function and do the job, but if can help with all this completely uneccesary social awkwardness for a while then Im probably gonna give the easier option a try, it is all purely in my head, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. I can do the job, but getting on with the people is just as, if not more important, and first impressions do count.

Anyone know the strength of pyraz compared to etiz? Im just being lazy, and could UTFSE but if anyone knows off the top of their head. Are they really ten times weaker than etiz? 8o
