Ahhhh sorry peeps, like I said on Gibs, was in garden, yea I'd like to try it...

Was having a great discussion with my key worker today and turns out that you were all right on a lot of arguments we've had lately. She was talking about Leah B and how it was water intoxication, that she was at a house party when she took it and usually it was taken at raves tat's why people were advised to take lots of water but she said in so many words that it's harmless if taken right.

She also explained to me about legal highs; that different ingredients get added and that's why they are legal for awhile. We discussed decriminalisation etc, she said a few countries have drugs legalised. I discussed this site and some of the different views. It was a very interest discussion.

I've learnt a lot from Bluelight - and from now on I'm going to try and be a lot more open minded about stuff rather than defensive and thinking I know right when I don't - and I appreciate you all correcting me on things I don't really know, even though I do have an evetrum at the time LOL.

Overhyped drug which turns people sweaty and ugly while spouting 'sincere' hippy platitudes at anybody within earshot and forging unbelievably superficial bonds which disintegrate as soon as the positive effects fade away and the comedown begins to creep in, bringing with it paranoia and gloom.

Oh, it's great the first time, and in certain circumstances it can still be great afterwards. It's not the fucking big deal that it's made out to be though, and you may just dislike it. Some people just don't like it at all.

Unfortunately, it seems to have become mythologised due in part to ex-ravers looking back to their youth, and also a younger generation that looks back to that time in music / cultural / drug history as some kind of Year Zero, and doesn't realise how cheesy the film Human Traffic was even at the time, adopting it as their Quadrophenia.

But hey! That's the world we live in. I'm sure the punk revival(s), mod revival(s) teddy boy revival(s) and skinhead revival(s) were similarly misguided.
 
Gimme Mephedrone over anything... that is one great drug... cheap and fucking amazing, I don't mind some coke every now and again... but it's damn expensive for proper coke

@ Dan - Meph comedowns are very manageable for me dan... and the high is amazing.... 1 gram can get me very far, meph just works for me.. but MDMA doesn't

@ Evey - Buy Empty Gelatin Capsules off amazon or something... then you can put the powder in there and swallow it :)

1g of meph would fuck me even with tolerance, upwards of 500mg I start to feel not so great on it. Comedowns are very easy for me too unless I overdo it which I've learnt not to now :P Agreed about the high being amazing as well, I'm probably weird in that I still prefer coke but I imagine I'm the kind of person that's going to love MD so will have to see if my opinion changes :P

MD doesnt work for me either anymore... most of the batches ive tried recently have been lacking love, mongy, sleepy. people say ive "lost the magic" but also a lot of people have noticed the batches being crap

Some pre ban meph would be lovely now
 
I have some coffee filters here for the good old codeine days; when I'd ran out of 60s and had to put up with my 12.5s and my 8s n CWE's them blah....

I think if people are going to try drugs then most of the time they'd try them regardless of what others say. Like me. I've never been involved in the kind of scene where ANYONE takes anything other than weed and yet as soon as I had the chance I tried coke. At the end of the day if you're over 18 then you should be mature enough to make your own choices without being influenced by people on the internet :P
 
But the access or knowledge of other drugs might be harmful if a person came here to pass the time if they were staying clean/looking for support as is the case with Evey if I'm reading that correctly from lurking.
 
I tend to agree with Summer. Nobody is forced to read BL - people can make their own choices. Ideally they might even go about it in less risky ways if prearmed with some decent info. I think BL mostly provides decent info if only cos there's a variety of opinions and experiences to sift though to get a more rounded overall picture.

The alternative would be no info and from experience I can tell you that's really not an improvement :|
 
@ Sham I would say this place has done good however it may have also influenced some bad things happening. I understand it's not black and white but it can put people into contact with things that they would never be exposed too if they didn't chat online.

I'll stop now I'm derailing the fucked thread and Im only drinking Pepsi max.
