Crikey what wonderful drug induced typosis that post from the small hours shows..sentiments v. much meant just wish I had been a little more articulate....So it's a full moon tonight and Friday the 13th...eek. All will be well it will it will. Onwards and upwards SM :) I still haven't been to bed..not exactly a paragon of virtue or good at following my own strict one month detox. It's been a good day though, have got lots of stuff done that I have been putting off.

Having ONE beer...bath, film and snoozes soon me thinks. <3
 
is it actually true that the lunar cycle effects peoples moods or is that a myth? something to do with the gravitation pull if i recall
 
I've been taking sertraline for about 9 months. I found it very difficult anytime they changed my dose but have been feeling stable the past free months.
 
Well I wish I could commit the fucking crime I was intending to commit but the only fucking post I've received is from South Manchester Mental Health Trust. :|

Extremely fucked off about this, having waited most of the week to no avail. If I'm being reasonable about it, it's only two or three days overdue, but that does NOT help me right now. Time to start re-planning the weekend in case it doesn't show tomorrow, which I've a feeling it won't.

So yeah. Full moon. Friday the thirteenth. Fuck it. Fuck it all.

I've actually had to order more etiz because of coming home the past couple of days to nothing has pissed me off so much. How pathetic is that? :D

Kids - do yourselves a favour and support your local skag dealer. He may treat you like shit and peddle shite gear, but at least '20 minutes' never becomes six days.
 
There isn't any conclusive evidence about lunacy/crime etc when a full moon is imminent. HOWEVER..years ago I worked in an elderly residential care home and we knew without looking at the lunar calendar when one was due as there was unrest, wanderings, confusion and a general 'feeling' that something was 'off' on those occassions.

When worked in mental health I noticed it too. Call it hippy dippy shit but I can always feel when one is due..I just feel aggitated, sleep even worse than usual (if that is possible) and I get a bit snappy..which is unlike me..sooo
 
hahahahaha at full moon statistics can never be truly accurate but is an estimate. For one, it isn't possible to study the whole population. Which groups were studies, where were they studied, from what time period were they studied? what was included in "crime" all crime including petty crimes or anything where an arrest was deemed? People can commit crimes and not get caught. If they have not been caught then how can they be included in the study? Would someone voluntarily deliver information on themselves - saying they committed a crime when there'd be a possibly of repercussions? Interesting though!

Interesting theory. So like a placebo affect so to speak? I agree! Similar to the fact that people "experience bad luck" on days like Friday 13th because they expect them to.

That certainly sounds rational enough on the surface, but how many people actually take notice of the moon's phases (or even the presence of the moon altogether) on a regular basis? How often is the moon clearly visible enough for people to see whether it's full? Do all these criminals (hypothetical or otherwise) demonstrate awareness of the fact their crimes were committed under a full moon? I very much doubt it.

Just doesn't stand up. Not that I'm attributing any supernatural causes to the alleged increase in crime figures, but come on.

It's gone fucking cloudy now anyway, so chances are many parts of the UK wont see the bleedin moon anyway. About the 'agitated' thing, funny you should say that Infloresence, I'm feeling quite hyper myself despite taking way over my normal early evening etiz dose. Possibly because I'm back on the e-cigs again for a weekend of debauchery, now that i can finally afford to do such things again. 8(

I recently heard some scary tales about vendors getting Eph mixed up with some sort of dissociative. Thats the last thing i need to happen tonight, thinking im getting some low dose stims to go with my beer, and finding my head warping out in some busy bar in the town centre. :sus:
