Utterly deranged and pathetic. Ban all the safe ones and push the research into more and more unknown areas. How fucking stupid can you get?

It was only an advisory letter. However, it does appear that the Government commissioned the ACDM to look into these things, so I would imagine an announcement will come within due time.

They do say "it is expected that aMT will be banned" rather than will. I would imagine it will be though.

Sad times.

The title refers to AMT and AH-7921 respectively.

AH-7921 is a synthetic opioid (although the gov.uk press release calls it a synthetic opiate, see below).


It is also recommending the control of the synthetic opiate AH-7921, which has been sold online as a “research chemical” but is also referred to as “legal heroin”. AH-7921 mimics the effects of morphine.

Does it suggest that they're grasping for stuff to ban? That they are unaware of the dangers of other legal drugs, such as the RC stimulants? What about the benzo's, is it not obvious that these are causing addiction?

Or perhaps they were concerned about aMT & decided to look at other Tryptamines while they were at it to save future effort banning the stuff.

aMT & AL-7921 are not particuarly odd choices given their popularity & propensity for abuse even though I doubt they're popular nor dangerous enough to be a risk to public health, but 5-meo-dalt is kind of pointless. Has there been any reports of harm associated with 5-meo-dalt?

I Am Not A Lawyer but I imagine it costs some manpower to design and enforce bans like these. Perhaps the costs for banning the more obscure chems were considered excessive.

I have read few pretty fucked up trip reports with it but thats because they took ridiculous doses like 5X the recommended.
 
More to the point, have there been any reports of people having a good time on 5-MeO-DALT?

As in a good time, and not just "well, it was a little more interesting than going to the bingo"?
