Right. Here. Few things

Codeine is illegal in the UK assuming it fulfils certain conditions.
All this back and forth drama between people is doing my fucking head in. Can we not just talk about something, anything, without it turning into Gibberings vs. Evey? If the drama and baiting/taking the bait keeps on there'll be infractions and warnings and all that great stuff because you've all had time to read the rules Shambles kindly posted. And has been posted many times. And which I am not posting again cos it's at the top of the page and it's a bloody sticky.

Reading the rules would be silly.

Surely debating the illegality of drugs is not against the BLUA? Even if it is annoying as fuck.

No it's not the debate I've got the problem with, it's the going nowhere aspect of it and the resultant drama. I've got no problem with any debate as long as people don't kick off and get at each other

No it's flash, won't work on mobile phones. Does anyone still use desktop computers in this day and age??
err, exactly...

i have a desktop, two laptops a tablet and a phone. any modern app/site worth its salt will work cross-platform transparently.

if your aim was to create a site which displayed an empty space on mobile devices used by more than half of all users, then it's working great :)

If everybody stuck evey on ignore or something there will be no issue

Anyways, laters

Look I didn't mean to offend anyone with what I said and didn't expect you all to get wound up. You forget I don't take the same stuff recreationally as most of you do, I'm on suboxone and don't necessarily understand things. I'm honestly not trying to be offensive or wind anyone up but please try to realise that I don't understand things in the same way. I wasn't aware that purchasing codeine like that would have come with those consequences.

I know I'm really new here as a posting member but for me bluelight is a critical anchor to keep me from doing something stupid. I don't know everyone or they're personalities but she was nice to me. (I'm gay so it's not like that). I just hate to see anyone put down is all. I get enough of that in the "real world".

I see where you're coming from, but are folk not supposed to challenge these opinions? If everyone just went oh well then that's fine, what good would that do?

All this harm reduction chat. The thing that causes the biggest harm is prohibition, it would be wrong not to challenge someone who is in favour of it. Although I agree with your second sentence, if one person just kicks off every time they're challenged then we're supposed to just stop the debate? That doesn't really work.

Evey I'm not offended. I just think that you are wrong. Wildly so. So I'm trying to explain why.

Now that you know what you do about codeine's illegality (& know that you could have went to jail for buying it) do you feel differently about what the consequences should be for someone else who might choose to buy a different drug online?

Yeah, definitely challenge it, just not in the way people have been recently, like maybe it's just me being in a bad mood but every debate we have seems to descend into abuse within a page. Agree with you on your last point too.

Being behind a screen makes it easier to go screaming all the cunts ever but it sort of invalidates debate when people are sniping at each other. Keep the debate, leave the abuse/drama/etc I guess

I don't know what the solution is but it seems to me the forum is gradually getting angrier or more wound up as a whole. Seems pretty similar to the MSB and Bodda situations. Feels like some proper rage then some proper bans are coming.

i hope im not the only dinosaur out here who only has a desktop. 8( If Raas's intention was to make another brilliant but controversial video then he succeeded.

Shes quite happy to stick everybody else on ignore, when they try and help her, when they give an opinion and she takes it the wrong way, causes a fuss, annoys the fuck out of everybody with her overreactive bullshit, i dont mince my words and i certainly aint gonna mince them now

thanks a bunch Dan. We were talking in PM yesterday and you go and say all this. You all try and wind me up all the time. I gave my opinion of something and every single one of you started on me. Of course I'm going to defend myself. Is this how it's going to be every time I try to give an opinion in here?

All I said was that it doesn't affect if psychedelics are banned and that there must be a reason for it. I don't see what I've done so wrong by saying that. I was not trying to cause offense, just trying to give my opinion. And if anyone else had have said this, no one would have said a word.

I just want to come here without this drama and have a nice chat please

Evey

It depends on the reasons for why they are banning it, which I've said from the beginning. What is their reasoning? Are the drugs killing people? Will lives be saved if the drugs are banned or will people go out and get it anything, and more risk of people dying?

The only way is to weigh up the reasoning for banning with the reasoning for not banning - where will less lives be lost / harmed?

Drugs In The Rugs.

50kg of heroin has been seized at manchester airport, it has been announced on tonights local news, 46 bags of carpets imported from Pakistan were picked up by sniffer dogs, and upon closer inspection heroin was found to be woven into the rugs. Doesn't matter how clever or elaborate your method of concealment if it won't get past a dogs nose. :\

I don't know why they even bother trying to conceal drugs from major drug transit routes, just put it in a box and be done with it. They have just wasted god knows how long making rugs out of heroin and it's been discovered anyway.

Looks like they had the welcome mat laid out for them and their plan unraveled.

Hiya MDB,

How's your second day of work been? Did you see Raas' movie? Interesting that eh?
Brimz is phoning me later to tell me the whole story.
