I am addicted to oxycocet. I don't know if that is the same as oxycodone or not. I have been on it for 10 years. I can't stop. I am hoping I find something in the posts on this forum that will help me.
I have depression and it gets worse when I don't take my oxy every 4 hours. I'd like to shoot myself, but I am too chicken.

Hi there Miss Trust, try making a thread in 'Other Drugs' I'm sure they'd be happy to answer your question. :)

http://www.bluelight.org/vb/forums/58-Other-Drugs

I took your advice and Mr Staggnatti told me to look it up on the web.

I had heard talk on that thread about subs and I didn't know what they were so I googled them. This what I got from that:

sub
səb/
informal
noun

  • 1.
    a submarine.

  • 2.
    a subscription.

verb

  • 1.
act as a substitute for someone.

So then I asked the question on the forum and he did tell me the answer, but made sure he let me know I have to look things up on the web rather than ask there. I thought that was rather rude since I don't know anything about drugs and I am just trying to get a little help.

Welcome to BL!!
I too am recovering from a decade long oxy/heroin addiction any questions feel free to ask me:)

Its always good to have a fellow Canadian on board I'm from BC myself

Miss Trust how are you settling into BL? Are you ok? Is there anything you need? I read one of your earlier posts about someone asking you to look stuff up? Please don't be offended I'm sure it wasn't meant that way. People love to help n answer questions here, especially from newbies.

What they probably meant was that there are so many threads on each sub-forum with very similar questions (and responses) - and that it would save you time, and benefit you if you looked up information with responses already there for you. Often people have had further questions n asked them, on the existing thread which helping towards the poster and others.

I think that was what was meant. Of course people don't mind you creating threads, responding to a megathread they're just thinking of you when they said that, is all.

I hope that help n please take care,

Evey

I would say " see if you can get methadone If you have to take pain meds for ever methadone pills last longer. and tell your DR. your depressed also"
goold luck to you

Hi Evey, my friend. You are so special, thank you for looking out for me. I appreciate you Evey and I knew from the moment I met you that you would have my back. :)

He didn't say look it up on this forum. He told me to look it up on the net, but that is all forgotten now anyway. I am meeting some helpful kind people here at BL. I really like it here. The people are real and don't pretend to be something they aren't.
