It might just my mind playing tricks on me or the comedown but...

13.5 hours ago I used 100mg of 70% pure Amphetamine Sulphate (speed), split into 3 doses, each around 40-60 minutes apart. Felt very good. No sleep but I'm not really feeling shitty at all. Made no repeat doses. I've got a bit of an achey back and achey knees along jaw tension which I really hate, hopefully it has subsided by the time I'm back in work. I really hate jaw tension, everything else I don't mind. Feeling fairly energetic still but I feel as if I could sleep soon, I'm getting tireder and tireder, about to go out for a walk and some food to reinvigorate myself a bit.

But I look as if I'm skinnier?! Or my skin feels/looks tighter and veins more prominent? Strange? I'm naturally skinny (just about fit into average weight for my height) but I look different today.

Take some magnesium and drink coconut water or atleast gatorade to replenish some electrolytes. It will cure the tight muscles somewhat. Stretch it out. Stay hydrated and eat some food.

You probably look slimmer and more vascular from the diuretic effect all stims have to a certain extent. Stimulants also pump more blood in to the muscles.

Thank you very much. Will do a few stretches and and get some exercise, just had a warm bath and a pint of pure orange juice.

Amphetamine causes vasoconstriction which could explain why your skin seems "tighter." My skin is usually blotchier/paler after amph use.

Placebo effect. The only way to actually know for sure is if you had measured your weight before and after and found the difference, if any.

When I used methylamphetamines I always weighed myself before and after, and regularly anyways regardless of whether I took/take drugs. I think it's important for people to do things that are so damned simple like take a basic survey of your own health every so often but regular enough to notice tiny fluctuations in, but not limited to: body weight, hydration needs, hygiene practice, blood pressure and heart rate (Systolic/Diastolic/BeatsPerMinute), appetite and DIET, metabolism, inhibitions, overall wellbeing, nutrient/electrolyte balanced intake, Magnesium (chelated form is best, ~300mg) idk, but if you're new to amphetamines then you need to realize that they have SERIOUS implications on your metabolism, which basically controls your body's natural rhythm's and chemistry...

Do a search and actually do serious research about what you're getting yourself involved with and what you're putting in your body and what it will do AFTER you administer it. The feelings you get, AKA the "high" or whatever, it ain't just good feelings, it's the result of neurotransmitters firing commanded by speed, and that isn't always the best way to win the race.... Think about it.

Back to normal today. My skin was blotchy (it is naturally to) so amphetamine definitely made this come out a little more. Got plenty of multivitamins down me and ate a fair bit of meat (eating set off my appetite again), just had a good nights sleep and I look as if I've got the life back in me.

I'm mostly aware of what I'm getting myself into, I keep drugs to recreational use and like to experiment. I'll try new things (except meth, heroin and cocaine, I have promised myself I won't use these) and if I like them I'll consider using it again at after an appropriate amount of time. I enjoyed speed, but it's not something I could do a lot of. Keeping it to once every few weeks/month maximum, probably as something to use with a friend of friends as I've definitely noticed how it can bring out your social side, though not nearly as much as MDMA can. I felt quite philosophical...

Ah well, back to normal, all down to experience, everything was good apart from the comedown but it wasn't much worse than MDMA. I presume it would be if I binged.

IME dehydration makes people look thinner also (especially in the face).
Also worth noting that drugs alter your perception of your body

This^^^ No matter what the substance is I always think I look leaner and more muscular than when i'm sober. Confidence boost.

Iv'e been a Heavy amphetamine user for a while now, but i distinctly remember the first time is used it, i had a line whenever i felt i needed a top up, i did this just for the weekend (3 days, 2 nights), and it made me not eat a thing or catch a minutes sleep for that time. Now on the Sunday i looked in the mirror, and weighed myself, I was Amazed at my weightloss (10lbs) and this is what made me fall in love with this substance (constant weight issues since age 12), I've lost quite a bit more since then, BUT NEVER as much, as quickly as that first time!

I find mainly i get an achey lower back, simply because the amphetamine makes me stand up straight and posture myself differently (often makes me stick to the same posture for longer as well [for obvious reasons] mainly sitting).

It is of course very true like everyone is saying, that we look at ourselves differently when 'under the influence' of anything,
as well as the diuretic properties..

Did you eat anything afterwards?
Did you drink anything as well?

If you haven't used amphetamines too much before, then it'd be good to remember (especially if you're skinnier already) how much it can make you lose weight and how it is/was used as a dietary and weight loss aid.
