Benzos klonopin on piss test? PLZ HELP!!!

Hi all Im on methadone maintenance, and im due for my randomn drug test which ive never failed before. i have been recently prescribed a small amount of ativan for anxiety, which i ran out of and due to no medical insurance i cant get a refill anytime soon, so my pal hooked me up wit a few 1mg klonopin to hold me over. today i had to take 1mg klonopin for a bad panic attack at work. My question is in a urine test would klonopin just show up as a benzo, in other words could it be confused as just the ativan? or will it show up in the test as specifically klonopin? So i beleive i have two options. either hope that the test just shows "benzo" and play it off as my ativan script, or come clean with them and tel em whats up. im almost leaning towards coming clean with them since i only took it in a small dose for medical reasons, its not like i was abusing it at all, plus they know my history, which i am an opiate junky and i NEVER abused benzos. i fucking hate the benzo buzz. Either way i cant afford to get kicked outta the methadone clinic and i dont want to tell them i took the klonopin if i dont have to, but if i wait to tell them until they decide to piss test me looks even worse like i was hoping to hide it and try to get it outta my system before they found out...im really lost here! any advice would be greatly appreciated! I just finally got my fucking dream job and im making great money for once in my life and i can finally provide for my loving wife and beautiful kids and i would never forgive myself if i fuck it all up by gettin kicked outta the clinic and snowballing down the slope and ruining my life and everyone around me again...im really doing good! i honestly havent used or gotten high at all in over 3 months now. the only urge i have is to continue to better my families life. obviously its not like im trying to hide heroine use or hide that i took 15 klonopin...im really just a guy tryin to stay on the right track that did something in the moral gray area. im on the right track and plan to stay on it for good. i just cant afford to fuck all this up because of my horrid panick attacks. PLEASE HELP!!!
BTW-ive read in several older posts that klonopin doesnt even show up in urine tests...is there any validity to this at all? I find this really hard to beleive. anywhoozle thanks for the help guys!

Sorry man, no drug testing questions..
But with being vague I will say you should be ok as long as it is a panel test and not lab. That's all i will/can say.

As HdoubleODeezy says, no drug testing Q's, though I understand why you're anxious.

My guess is it'll just show up as benzodiazepines present. It'll have to be a very specific/advanced/costly test to determine exactly what type of benzo is present.

I didn't give an answer to his question.. i just basically said its dependent on the type of test.
Didn't say anything about what it would or wouldn't show up as.


EDIT: OP.. if you don't mind me asking, how many Ativan and what mg are they that you are rx'd per month?
Just seems odd that you ran out of your rx and needed someone else's.
And insurance or not, lorazepam is cheap as shit so that's not a reason to not be able to refill it.
I get an rx for benzos 120 pills/month for the price of a couple packs of cigs, WITHOUT insurance (generic brand).
For future reference, if you have the possibility to be drug tested in the near future.. don't put yourself in the position of having to worry about failing.
Yes it seems justified in this case. Or maybe you are making it sound justified in order to help convince yourself it was "ok" to do.
If you are so nervous about your life getting ruined by a failed test than that would be enough reason to not take the benzo.
Ironic it was for anxiety reasons you needed to take it, but now what are you going to do about the anxiety of the test? lol.
Kinda shot yourself in the back there.
Not trying to be negative, just giving you another angle of this situation to view to maybe keep you outta this situation again in the future

^^^ you must live in the north then, here in GA, I can still get 3 packs of Marlboro Reds for 10$ if I look really hard :) Seriously, one of the few advantages to this state.

Hell, you might as well answer his question, if there are no mods to close it!!!

I meant generic brand benzos lol not cigs.. i smoke camel menthol.. and I can't mention price but I pay what you pay for 1 less pack. (You mentioned price not me lol ;) )
I ain't gonna answer the question flat out.. i was just wondering why they would cause themselves more stress for a drug test after the fact of using said medication to relieve stress was the reason they have this question. Just ironic to me.
