Cocaine Seroquel for cocaine crash

I've heard a lot about seroquel being a pretty good knockout pill for stimulants. I'm wondering how it is for a cocaine comedown, in which usually i cant sleep for several hours and fall into shitty depressed thoughts. The next few days are rough, get jumpy and anxious as well as worn out. That's from half a g.

Will seroquel knock me out and numb the hangover the next day?

Works wonders for me for a meth binge, but I wouldn't use it for a coke comedown, that's just necessary. Man up son, coke crashes are weak

Seriously though in theory it will stop the drug and make you sleep, but wont stop any lingering hangover effects in general, however it did seem to do this for me and there is some info about Seroquel assisting in dopamine recovery or something but im not sure. I would always be almost 100% after a 4 day meth binge.

Not all people experience the same crash for a specific drug as another person does, so comparing a comedown on cocaine versus meth between two different people is unproductive. I personally find coming down on cocaine to be a far worse feeling than any crash from meth I've ever experienced, and I've done both drugs plenty of times. It still takes me hours to work the cocaine out of my system enough to get to sleep after a 'white night,' and the first hour or two of that is completely horrible -- i would pray for a crash pill every second of it. A comedown on non-IVed meth on the other hand is no walk in the park either but it's so much smoother and easier to manage except for the whole no sleep thing, I would pick it over a coke crash any day.

25mg Seroquel (if no tolerance to it) is all you need for this. Good luck.

Some people swear by Seroquel for this OP. I sure used to find it very effect back when I'd do coke or speed. Although you might very well need over 25mg. I never had a tolerance to it and I'd need (6'1", 175lbs) 50mg minimum and more like 100mg to knock me out. Never had any problem with hangover from the Seroquel the next day, even after only sleeping like four to six hours. Everyone's different though, but I can't see taking 50mg being any problem in terms of ending a coke run/binge/night.

I use a line of K and melatonin + vitamin c and go to sleep.
But that fuckin bastard coke wakes me up like every 15mins.
Maybe I need to get 6mg instead of 3mg melatonin..

How about xanax? I heard its better than seroquel.

Yea I would agree, for coke, I used alcohol but thats apparently not good to combine with stims, and also used ambien which seemed to allow me to sleep but i slept walked sometimes, but not always. Seroquel might be overkill or just what you need, depending. I think the ideal would be a proper benzoz for this as long as your not taking the benzoz in addition to a lot of drinking as well since this could be dangerous once the coke wears off.

Wow, Seroquel is pretty strong stuff. I'm quite the pill vet, whether it be benzos or opiates and 25mg of Seroquel knocked me into the dirt. I crashed and slept for about 16 hours that night into the next day. Strong shit, just be forewarned.

Oh yeah. And dont try taking 300mg when you are 3 days in to a binge with no food and sleep, and then try to walk. I dropped where i was, unconscious for a bit, until i was helped to my room. No food, unhealthy body state, no sleep and drop in BP from Seroquel makes it hit hard even harder. And i hate having to take it. That feeling of suddenly not being high and all the bad shit like tiredness and unhealthiness kicking it at once and then the feeling of falling unconscious, in a bad way, is quite unpleasant, especially if you take it during a comedown it panic attack, that was a nightmare.

I have xanax but I feel lile I dont want to waste it on a drug like coke lol. I actually use it for occasional anxiety. Maybe for the next day if im feeling edgy. But it sounds like the seroquel is what im gonna try.

If you've never used it, 25/50mg Seroquel will quite literally knock you out. Can't believe some people with genuine psychosis take ~800mg.

After 24hour (or till I'd had enuf) coke binges I use to sometimes use codeine, either CWE or jus eat them.

I think every drug addict in the world needs to keep a bottle of seroquel, it's just so damn useful.

Only thing(aside from taking stupid high doses of benzos to knock myself out) that helps me sleep during WD.

Hey guys ! Hope I can help a little .SWIM used to be a hardcore h addict but now only occasionally uses cocaine with a couple of his cats. I have a prescription for paxil ( which works wonders for my anxiety and social anxiety) as well as a dose of seroquel at night ,50mg. But anyways, seroquel has been a LIFESAVER for me when it comes to comedowns and comedown anxiety. Even if I am still very high of my stimulant if choice writer it be meth or coke, I can still take 50-75 mg of my seroquel and it knocks me out and takes away all the anxiety , and before I go to sleep I can still enjoy the effects of the stimulant for it has completely demolished my anxiety. No need for xanax or klonopin for me anymore guys. Seroquel is a god send in my opinion, it's dopamine antagonists mechanism of action effects really takes the edge of with stimulants that release large amounts of dopamine ad to a lesser extent serotonin such as meth. It's completely brings me down and lets me have a good night sleep no matter how spun SWIMS cat gets. Hope my input helps , have a good one guys

im on 2x400mg of seroquel a night lol. but if you are not prescribed it under 100mg will knock u the fuck out. if ur feeling like losing a day or two, chew up a 400mg tab, expect slurred speech for a long time, inability to move at all, inability to think. massive appetite next day, still drowsy all day next day or two. you will be wanting to just lie down on the sofa for "just a quick nap" all day. lol.

As i said, seroquel is stong as fuck lol. when i got put on it these sedative effects go away after being on it a while. a bit. still , stops the voices haha

I agree, although to some extent I prefer first generation neuroleptics - nastier to some extent, but the knockout effect is much more guaranteed for me. If I'm going for the neuroleptics then I've probably decided I won't be going able to sleep for at least 12 hours, or then need to end some horribly acute distressing situation (like having taking too much of an unknown psychedelic thinking it was LSD), and at that point the side effects are a pretty good deal. It's not as if quetiapine is pleasant in any case. Chlorpromazine, levomepromazine - those'll do it. Quetiapine works just fine, too, but I prefer the older ones for this purpose.
Benzos will usually help me get to sleep 1-2 hours earlier - to overpower a still effective stimulant or psychedelic dose I'd need retarded amounts of benzos usually, so in such cases neuroleptics are indeed useful to have around.
