Anyone see any for sale round where they are? I've never seen it personally so I had a go at making some.

Made this as a first try, shit is potent as fuck, but most of it still needs a touch more drying:

Would it not be easier to dry it in a shallow dish or middle of a plate. Will make it much easier to scrape off when it hardens.
 
How much product did you use to get that yield mate, an 8th? It looks like you have about half a G of oil there at least. Did you do a butane extraction? We used to get oils like this in little packets but its not been about for time. Super sticky H.P sauce -happy covert smoking.
 
Reminds me of my youth , many years ago in the Rif mountains. Spent three weeks there with a farmer and a dutch guy who was an expert in extracting oil. WE HELPED HARVEST the crop, collect the resin and pollen and watched as the fella used various solvents, heating , washing , evaporating leaving us with x oz of the best oil evahh I cant remember how many lb's lbs of hash we started with (at £250 a lb) but what a trip. This was when you could be slung in pokey for a roach (in Jersey) so hash was expensive and hard to get so oil was perfect as volume to profit ratio was excellent -. Met some hardcore 'workers' out there with speed boats on the coast that would take 20m to do a trip to lessen the odds they would buy a tonne and get one delivered to anywhere in spain on the second.
spent an excellent 6 months over there a match head of the stuff in a j would knock 4 peoples sideways and i always remember you could buy a pint,pack of fags and a lighter for a quid - THATS how long ago it was lol
 
There came a lot of crusties over here in the 90a more dole and no Thatcher, they used to make/sell it, haven't seen it commercially since then though a mate who I target see makes a little personal with his shake.

5g, just did a simple shake with isopropyl alcohol and filter method.

Here it is completely dried, somewhere between half a gram and a gram I reckon which is what i expected from the amount I used:

I didn't use a wide plate because it was too much liquid for that and I didn't want a tiny film left on it that I think would have been more difficult to scrape. Also I used a double boiler to evaporate the IPA quickly so having high sides meant I could get the IPA to boil off really quickly. Having it collected in the corner of a little dish like that is easy enough for me anyway, it's not leaving the house.

Just woke up from a six hour coma induced by smoking a piece the size of a match head.
 
Omen sorry I thought you had used a deep candle holder or something - didn't realize you could get a razor in there.

Yeah it's big enough to scrape, if a little awkward. I'll just be leaving it in there and pulling out tiny bits to smoke as needed I think.

edit: and yeah the lighter's cool isn't it!
 
This shit is mental, one big toke (about half a match head sized piece) and you're absolutely cannabis tripping.

I like the lighter because it says 'denial'=D
