Xanax shortage in Florida- any idea?

I was looking to buy a few bars but nobody has any at all, one person told me nobody in the state has. A friend of a friend who is in the know says it has to do with ease of acquiring it through legal channels. I'd really like to find out the reason why if anyone knows.

The guy asking around for me was recently prescribed four .25mg pills for his plane ride. Florida is apparently the pill capital, I thought xanax would be more readily available.
 
In my area in the south, a guy was busted recently with 5,000 Xanax pills. It was all over the news. The news source mentioned that someone had been arrested in connection to the bust in California. If this is true, I'm guessing whoever it was in California was sending them far and wide.
 
I dunno wtf all this is about but when i was in texas this winter xanax flowed like water straight outta houston still.
name brand xanax all day
but ive also heard rumors of mass amounts of fake xanax bars with a weaker benzo acting as xanax so be careful

Correction; Florida 'was' the pill capital but after documentaries such as 'The OxyContin Express' came out they shut down the pill mills and instated a prescription monitoring program to prevent doctor shopping.

So not only have doctors become more reluctant to prescribe controlled substances, but they also made it way harder for an individual to get similar prescriptions from multiple doctors in ways that used to work in getting around the system, e.g paying cash rather than using insurance. Since diverted prescriptions made up the bulk of illicit pills on the street then preventing that has resulted in a smaller supply available.
 
While all of this is true it is still mad easy to score a script w/o an MRI and almost everyone and there grandmother has a script for benzos. As of the 1st of this year I had scripts for 160 10mgs of methadone, 90 30mg roxi's and 90 2mg xanax all without any medical records except for a form showing that I had been on methadone at a clinic. Imagine that..... The doctor knew I was an addict because of my clinic transcripts but based on this knowledge he gave me that prescription cornucopia.
 
^ Used to be like that in Broward and lots of the clinics got shut down. Only to set up shop in Palm Beach. I remember when clinics used to be allowed to dispense the prescriptions on-site, like one stop shopping very convenient. They put a stop to that in 2010. But I've never been to one that didn't require an MRI and I'm surprised that still goes on.
 
pill availability ime is mainly based on small circles of who knows someone with a script that is willing to sell them off.

But if you look at recent busts in the US a few busts of thousands and thousands of bars are happening around the country. 5k and 21k are two that come to mind and both are said to be connected to the california bust. I'm sure he was responsible for a good precent of the market.

So are they stolen, imported, or illegally manufactured? Even if you're doctor shopping, having thousands of pills seems unlikely.

I remember 2 years? ago when that truck got hijacked and they lost the shipment of 50,000+ A215 blue 30's among other things.


Edit: Apparently it was 70,000 and also 24,000 alprazolam units (whatever that means). So I'm guessing anyone with real large amounts probably stole them from somewhere?
 
I am pretty sure all the name brand Xanax that's flooding the streets here in Georgia are fake. They have no Xanax taste, effects come on after an hour and they fuck me up more than 2mg of Xanax ever should.
 
Removed some posts, including one that was bragging about having drugs. No one gives a shit if you have a large amount of drugs and it's dumb as hell to post it online.
