Hi I was wondering what the average amount your heart rate increases after one pill? If you take half a pill will it decrease the amount your heart increases? Do things such as weight, height, fitness etc influence it?
Any other info is appreciated!

The amount you take will determine how quick your heart beats. Obviously higher doses tend to cause higher heart rates. Weight, height, fitness etc will also play a role. If you have a lower resting, your heart rate will be lower on MDMA. But the stimulant effects will always cause an increase in HR regardless of your size etc. Perhaps the increase is different depending on your size, but then that might just be higher tolerance to the drug as well.

Thanks for that! If my hearbeat is about 70bpm at rest what would be the amount it would increase to after half a pill for a first time user?

Firstly, 'half a pill' is a not unit of measurement. Let's say one pill has 70mg of MDMA and the other has 200mg. Half can equal either 35mg or 100mg - big difference. So who knows how much 'half a pill' is going to raise HR, it depends on what is in the pill. Also don't forget that our HR is always changing and things such as exercise inherently increase HR. So let's say you take half a pill and dance to some music, your HR is going to be higher than if you just sat down while on the drug. So basically, who knows? The studies I've read which used reasonable doses of MDMA (1.5mg per/kg of body weight) only find modest increases. HR is elevated to around 100-110BPM, akin to mild exercise. So if we assume the average resting HR is 70BPM, that's an increase of about 30-40BPM.

Thats good to know thanks! I had two 'episodes' of SVT post operation last year but they were brought on by the huge amount of morphine and painkillers i was on along with, stupidly on my part, stimulant drinks after the op. But it was most likely mainly the medicines as i drink stimulant drinks (red bull etc) regularly enough and i dont even notice a change in HR if there is any.

I excercise regularly, both weights and cardio along with protein shakes and have no problems during or after with my heart.
So i wouldnt say an increase of 30-40 would be that dangerous..?

If you don't notice the HR effects of caffeine, you probably won't notice MDMA. I've found the cardiovascular effects are rather similar. In fact, I've noticed a higher HR on caffeine when I've drunk 2 big energy drinks. But that's a lot of caffeine.

No it's effects on the heart are not very dangerous. Going for a very light jog causes a similar increase in HR, you wouldn't worry about that would you? You shouldn't worry about your HR unless it's getting above 140-150. 160BPM is beginning to be very taxing and anything 170-180 is a very high intensity (think of a long heavy jog kind of thing). 2-3 bottles of water over the evening is enough to compensate for any HR and temperature increases.

Ok thanks for that! I smoke weed regularly enough and sometimes i can notice that my heart rate has increased.
Is it anywhere near the same rate as ecstasy?

I find weed really causes anxiety so I get a really high HR from it. Much higher than MDMA. I've never noticed my HR on MDMA, but i'm also pretty pre-occupied having too much fun to notice it.

How Is this a concern. You'll be too high to notice or care about your heart rate. Pill reports was the only reassurance I needed. Just go have fun.

I have a very similar experience with the two drugs. I used to smoke weed regularly, but now it gives me really bad anxiety and my heart rate goes through the roof. However, on ecstasy I never notice my heartrate as I'm usually having a great time.

Just remember to drink water regularly, and if you feel yourself feeling faint or anything, sit down or rest for a bit.

You should be fine if you can handle cardio / weight lifting.
