What would Be a Worse Regret?

It's worse to have regrets of things you haven't done for sure, because then you're playing out in your mind what would have happened if you did do it and what might have happened. At least if you did something and it fucked up and you regret it you can get closure on it.

Didn't do.
For example, you could have saved someones life, but didn't act when you had the opportunity.

Also, I think when one is in the proverbial deathbed, they tend to negatively reflect on things they didn't do, as opposed to things they did do.

Neither. It just depends on the situation. If you should have pulled the trigger and didn't, you could be dead. If you should not have pulled the trigger and did, you could have killed someone and not needed to. It is literally purely situational. Living with something you did has the possibility of being much worse than something you didn't do. What you didn't do is only a bigger deal to people who are insecure or fantasize about their life and what it could be.

I don't regret anything I've done, I do regret not doing something's and missed opportunities.

imho its usually better to err on the side of not doing stuff. on average, inaction probably has less potential to do damage than action. but like benwise said its purely situational.

I think i would rather live with my convictions, then spend my life wondering 'what if?'
